- Palestinian fighters launched a rocket from Gaza's Rafah city towards southern Israel, despite Israeli military presence in the area. The rocket was intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome system. Israel claims progress in defeating Hamas battalions in Rafah but reports of daily attacks and clashes persist.
