Thank you for sticking with me! I couldn't believe that weather, apparently it was hot like that for a week or two leading up to this round, which is why the greens were so firm. The members out their were in disbelief as well haha
Watching this after playing TPC n Presidio last couple weeks Is just punishment one day I hope to play it Good video definitely displays how pure it is there
Thanks for watching! This was actually my first time playing up in San Francisco, looking at the other courses across the lake was punishment for me too haha, I doubt there's golf anywhere in California better than in that area
Thank you! Though me killing it on the course is a relatively new phenomenon lol. Thanks for coming back to watch after all this time @robocop30301 it's good to hear from you
All is going good! Game is better than ever, and I have been making equipment review and instructional videos for @AmateurGolf over the last few months, check those out as well! More content to come on Formulagolf, thanks for sticking with me and showing support for all these years @HighSpinSwingSpeed
Yeah the bunkers are really penalizing! I got lucky and avoided all of them. The course superintendent told us before the round that we can expect the exact same conditions in thr US am next year, the rough isn't super long but it's thick and going into those firm greens it's about impossible to hold them. It's going to be a really exciting tournament to watch
Alive and well! Check out @AmeteurGolf for more videos, I've been working with Pete on equipment reviews and instructional videos there over the last few months
youre a lot younger that Haag. Had you played him at when he was youre age, you would have been smoked and closed out on the front 9. Randy was (and still is) a BEAST!
I don't doubt that! He is extremely impressive and a great guy to be around! I do think he'd mathematically have a really hard time closing me out after 9 holes though, figuring I shot -3
His short game was phenomenal, got up and down a lot you'll see in the other videos when they're posted. We talked about him not turning pro after the round actually, he said the tour life just wasn't for him after traveling and playing in a few as an amateur
Welcome back. Been loving your content on AmateurGolf and helping out their platform. Blaire random inquiry but ive only ever primarily focused on in-state majors. Ive only ever played in 1 AmateurGolf event and it was when I traveled out of State to San Diego for the San Diego Amateur at Aviara. Do you have any events that you'd suggest me looking into that you might be familiar with through them? I dont know much about their strength of fields etc. Other than that, I am so excited to see you post again. Please invest into yourself through this channel. You're that mf dude!!!
I've been playing out in Europe the last 4 years on the Alps Tour, but I took this year off full time golf to focus on learning German and getting everything in order for me to emigrate to Austria in 2025. Somehow during the course of that I'm playing the best golf of my life by far haha
I guess know a member who would be kind enough to invite you out, I don't know if it's possible otherwise. There's a lot of members there apparently so you never know if maybe you'll come across one!
I've been playing out in Europe the last few years and wanted to focus on getting better. I've taken this year off of full time golf to focus on learning German and getting ready to move out to Austria as soon as next year. I'll get back to playing pro golf again once I'm out there, I'll be posting vids again in the meantime!
Thanks dude! The greens were so firm out there that anything that came in with lower trajectory and spin would go screaming over the green. Even on back pins it called for something high and spinny landing 10 yards short, it was wild! I was able to hit a couple knockdowns to 3 feet on 15 and 18 though
@@derekcarday Thank you! More videos like this to come, hopefully I can continue to play some cool courses. Until then be sure to check out @AmateurGolf and @MrShortgame versions when they come out, we have some other cool angles and more banter between all of us
Haha yeah figured it's about time. Check out @AmateurGolf, I have a few equipment review videos and instructional stuff that's been posted on there over the last few months. Excited to post more vlogs on Formulagolf going forward
Also Randy went back to putting normal broomstick style, he putted great out there. @MrShrotgamegolf is gonna be posting his footage of all of us soon, I'll let you know when it drops!
(Every "filmed" shot) Most if not all of the shots my channel missed will be posted on Mr Shortgame's collab video soon. I'll let you know when it drops and you can find out if I'm crazy enough to cap in front of two Olympic Club members and all of his channel's subscribers haha
I filmed this day at Olympic. The reason why every single shot wasn't filmed was because we were there to film a preview for the US Amateur coming next year. But after a couple of holes seeing how well Blaire was playing, I made the executive decision to get as many shots of him as I could because it would probably make a good video. And you calling cap means that you clearly aren't familiar with Blaire's putting stroke.
We had a day for sure. Great match
You're OG Blaire!! I loved your vids with MTI. Nice to see you back Sir.
Thank you! Glad to be back, thanks for sticking with me all this time!
Great to see you again, Blair! What a beautiful video. How very luck you were to play that course with that weather. Amazing!
Some people have all the lucky.

OG of golf content!!
Yezzir!!

1:18 so much sod on the club lol. I remember that this course is peppered with deep bunkers…

Haha yezzir! Look forward to more videos
Get Gabe on the course I want to see you to play again! We want that early 2010’s vibe
I can promise you I'll try!
Randy has a short game like no other. I am so surprised he never went pro.

Why didn’t you play the black tees?
It was the only tee where all four of us could have a fair match from. I'll definitely return and play the blacks one day!
@@Formulagolf with your length it would be a shame if you didn’t! Look forward to your return.

Imagine if golf was just this easy
Man if you could learn to take a little more club on those approaches with a knockdown shot into those back pins you'd be top ten on tour brotha!!
