  • Yes, it's a HST, and now it's time to take a nice look at this lovely machine!
This is a very nicely details model, and yes it does come in other liveries, but I got the one I loved the most!
Now then, the good points, well it can haul more than 200g of coaches behind it, runs smoothly and quietly and isn't too troublesome to install a decoder in and has lights!
Bad points? Can't really think of any outside of sometimes iffy couplings and perhaps a future want of through train pickups, but neither of them are anything too troublesome!

      Glad that you agree!
Tis quite a nice train pack and happy to get the 43 in a great livery too!

Your layout is looking really good James. Is there more vegetation than last time? Fairly powerful engine pulling all those cars. Very cool, thanks for sharing.

Cheers very much, and I tend to record review videos out of order compared to my build videos just so I've got time to build the build videos heh, though it's quite possible I did add more greenery since last time!
And glad you agree, though I was quite concerned about the coaches decoupling during recording, but seems happy with the Farish ones.

James. Far too modern for me, but it's a great review, and I love that you include the prototype facts. Pete.

Cheers very much, and yeah I know heh, do have to do something modern now and then (if I remember which ones I've done that is!), and glad you like the info on the prototypes, do have to do my research on some things as there's not a lot of info about them in one useful place.

if they could add better lighting options (day and night mode) and a speaker i think it would be good still for a relatively old model now. it runs nicely.

That could be something which they could add for another run on the models, though do have to wonder if that'll bump up the price to customers that much, but would be nice to see them offer it as an option at least!
