    You could use foam core board for nose and you wouldnt have to cut so many card board pieces. Excellent work I love it. Thank you for the fantastic video

      Good suggestion and thanks for your kind words. I wonder what the edge of the nose would look like with foam core board.

    It’s a very cute idea. It’s not one that could be used outside though.

      That depends on where you live 🙂 . I know there are people who leave them outdoors during the holidays. Use outdoor paint and place them under a porch or similar.

    I LOVE nutcrackers. Is Ms. Meijer Jewish? Her name sounds like a derivative of the Hebrew name Meir?

    • @Animaplates
      @Animaplates  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Meijer is Joelle's husband's surname. It is a quite common surname in the Netherlands, and it is derived from a word that meant "bailiff" or "steward".

    Did u pop the balloon?

    • @Animaplates
      @Animaplates  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, there is no point. On the other hand, once the paper mache is hard enough (and enough layers), it doesn't matter if the balloon shrinks.

    What kind of paint did you use?

    • @Animaplates
      @Animaplates  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to be able to display your nutcracker outdoors, I recommend using a good quality exterior (or exterior/interior) paint.
