The best is to use cutoff to cutoff method than overfilling. Not recommended to fill up to brim esp on a petrol car as it damages the vapor canister or collector, it expects only gas and a liquid will damage it.
My goodness! I too own an i20 and it’s fuel tank capacity is 45 litres. But as to what I’ve tried to grasp, I think that even after autocut, the tank can take in atleast 2-3 more litres of fuel. Therefore, not recommended. But a commendable job Sir, very informative and nice video.

I have i20. And i have dobe in same way as you directed. 427 km chalane ke baad dubara brim tak full karane main 2700 ka petrol aaya 37.63 ltr. Hundai advisor ne bola avg calculate krne ke liye jitne ka petrol aaya use km run se divide kr do that means 2700/427= 6.32 bt i think jitna ltr. Petrol aaya 37.63ltr. Usse km run ko divide krne se avg aayegi 427/37.63= 11.34kmpl. Kya sahi h. Waise mujhe kl jana h hundai service cetre

Now all are eager to know how to increased the mileage. I am sure u want to. 1. Increase the tyre pressure to 38PSI+ so the rolling resistance will be more free 2. When ever u see a slow moving traffic drive in the top gear (4th gear) even at 25kmpl speed. 3. When there is a road decline surface, put the car in Neutral and let the car go slow in a gradual way, why I am telling you is that, when the car is put in Neutral, the RPM will be in 800rpm. So the engine consume less fuel. 4. AC depending on weather if u r travelling alone. 5. No hard accelerating. 6. Always change gear within 1200rpm always. You know some thing . I20 car, not only i20 all cars, can make up to 30kmph without any Acceleration and only by clutch release in all the 5 gears, that is why a red colour mark is given at 30kmph. Check ur speedometer. Ok. Hope this tip will 70% increase ur mileage

I will not consider it as Poor , My figo S petrol gives 13-14 ( Highway only ) with Speed Crossing 150 at times & always above 120 if road permits, so Mixed mileage of 15.76 Is quite Decent, If it would have been a Alto it can definitely give Mixed mileage of 18 but not This class of cars
