John Bruton dies aged 76 after long illness

The former Taoiseach and former Fine Gael leader John Bruton has died at the age of 76.
In a statement issued this morning, his family said he died peacefully at the Mater Hospital in Dublin, following a long illness.
John Bruton was Taoiseach from 1994 to 1997.
