I just pre-ordered from my local independent bookstore! I first pre-ordered with Barnes and Noble when I realized I could do the same thing from our local bookstore. Support our small businesses 😁
I tend to mostly stay away from making desserts, because I like to keep my meals simple, but I plan to order the book to support you because you are amazing and I really have appreciated watching you and all of your guests on TH-cam.
I have seen the advance of the book get it! When you eat Chef AJ‘s desserts which I do. She makes them for us and you think this can’t be compliant, but they are. 😋😋😋👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
When you put it in a book holder to use the recipe and keep it clean, say one that stands up. It fits much better than a paperback one. The overall use is going to be a lot better for you as well as your experience while you’re using it. Hardback books are the way to go ! 👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Just ordered despite being more of a savory seeker….but I do love a good dessert. Even if I just make one or two, I’ll be happy to share with friends and family.
hi ChefAJ - super excited about this new book!! recently got your other dessert book “A Date with Dessert” (was in the 2023 thrive bundle). however i don’t see a kindle version… will there be an ebook later? international shipping + import fees, VAT & duties really kills it for me (i’m in south africa; often the cost of getting a physical book here is about equal to the actual price of the book). i bought on preorder a kindle version of a vegan cookbook last year and the delivery to my app was smooth with the pre-order bonuses still granted to the ebook sale; it was great value for money. so i would definitely be interested in a preorder of Sweet Indulgence if it will be available electronically!! 🙏🏻
I’m so glad this is happening. Having taken your dessert cooking class this past holiday season, I’m buying a few, because so many friends who try the sweets you’ve created, who aren’t vegan, beg me for the recipes. I’m giving them as gifts
Chef AJ your books are as amazing as you and everything else you do for us! Thank YOU for continually bringing so much to our WFPB community! Outstanding list of endorsers and well deserved. Congratulations, You ROCK, Lady!! 🎉🤩🥦🍠Of course I preordered but thinking I’ll preorder for my daughter too! See ya @ Rancho 🥰
Yay on your sweet indulgence cookbook.... l'll run out to get it at Walmart for sure.... can't wait to get one. It will be displayed on my kitchen counter to show off when friends come over. Pink sweater is awesome. You are a smart dresser for sure. I don't only watch your show because you have fantastic guest speakers....but also to see what you're wearing. Love all your fancy hats and beanies too. I'm a hat girl too. I can't wait to get my copy of sweet indulgence. Maybe you can autograph it 1 day
I do love cookbooks with illustrations and pictures....makes a big difference when you can see what it's going to look like...... can't wait to get my copy
I rarely take the time to comment but I must say, I so look forward to hearing your u tube everyday. I will pre-order your book for sure. Thank you so much for all you do
I just ordered your new book! Can’t wait to get it. I currently have one of your “Unprocessed” desserts in my freezer, the chocolate mousse torte. I love it, I used to be out of control with SAD desserts but not with WFPB ones. I made this for Christmas dinner and eat a sliver every night with two pieces left.❤
✨🥳✨Just ordered it & can’t wait to get my paws on it! 🌟♥️🌈Congratulations, Chef AJ❣️🌟 and thank you for all your hard work & for sharing your wisdom & experience with us! You’re such a gift to us all!✨🙏🏾
❤ I'm jumping down excited for you...and for me! I just ordered it and can hardly wait to get it! We've been waiting as patiently as possible for a long time for this!
Because we travel full time, I can't preorder. BUT, I have calendared to buy it on Aug 27 (and included a note that I must order before Aug 31). Supporting your endeavors and dreams is the least we can do to say thank you 😍. I'm also a praying girl, so I'll add your goal to my prayers.
Did you put NYT Best seller on your Vison Board this year ? I never buy hardcovers, especially not recipe books BUT I pre-orderd yours because anything I have ever made from your recipes have been absolutely scrumptious. Thank you for this little slice of heaven ! Cannot wait to get this book.
Congratulations, Chef AJ! Sadly the book is not available in Australia yet (neither the physical book nor the Kindle version) and it seems it's sold out on Amazon US!
Congratulations Chef AJ I preorder also nervous because I will be out of the US got to get my neighbor to keep eye out. Amazon is good with theirs order. Love the sneak previews
Hi Chef AJ. I tried to pre order your new dessert recipe book but delivery cost to Australia was listed as $410. The book was also $67 on top of that. I will order when it is available through bookshops in Australia. Good luck with preorders and sales of your new book.
I feel bad asking, and I tried to listen to this but I might have missed the answer if somebody has already asked, but are the recipes in this different than your A Date With Dessert book that I have already printed off?
@@CHEFAJNo worries. I just preordered on Amazon. So I challenge you to work on a tasty Panna Cotta recipe that doesn’t taste like coconut…pretty please. And a Happy and Healthy New Year to you.
1/8/2024 Thanks in advance for reading and discussing this comment, and have a great day! 1. 'Sweet Indulgence' sounds like it would be a great book for anyone baking for any social gathering including: birthday parties, school cafeterias (SF Unified School District seems to be very meat based), food trucks, cafes, etc. 2. Most of your fans probably have a pet cat or dog. 'Cultured Meat' might be a healthier, tastier alternative for them, instead of what is sold in (millions) of zip codes all over the world. The key is to get the price lower than what is offered from the MSM 'main stream media' advertised meat products for pets. 'Cultured Meat' might help America turn from an economy based on the 'military-industrial- (congress)-(media)-complex' that President Eisenhower tried to warn everyone on his last day...to an economy ending the mass killing of billions of animals for food every year...Alameda, California is supposed to have a successful 'cultured meat' company. This was discussed on a San Francisco Bay Area news radio station recently. 'Cultured Meat' companies won't stay in business unless they have enough customers. Their main mistake is not focusing on the millions who buy meat for their pet cat or dog. The other main mistake is not selling a single sample size under the price of one dollar. They need to keep the price and sample size small in order to reach 8 billion people, and not just the 'eccentric who go plant based.' The owner of the 'cultured meat' company in Alameda, California noted that about 95% of the general public will probably always love the taste of meat, and that is why he selling that taste, without the cruelty to animals. Another mistake is not selling 'Cultured Meat' sample sizes under one dollar (inside a 'cracker sandwich' with 'cultured cheese', 'cultured meat' fresh daily, then donated quickly to nearby Food Banks, about the size of one to four bites per sample size, equals much less waste if they have to throw it away). All the above could quickly end world hunger in about one week!!! Tip for every author out there who really wants their book to be read and discussed: GIVE PERMISSION UNDER THE TITLE, AND AGAIN IN THE COPYRIGHT SECTION!!!...allow ANY reader to 'read this out loud on You Tube from cover to cover.' Your big fans will buy your books anyway to give out as presents, etc.; to date, autograph, journal notes on each page; to use a high lighter, etc. This will help prevent: just another book sitting on the shelf, not read enough, not discussed enough. Ideally, the 'top one percent' who really are sincere about promoting literacy, will give gift certificates to millions of 'reading out loud on You Tube, cover to cover' to many different stores, restaurants, schools, etc. This could really help the economy in every zip code to become a 'plant based society.' Another helpful idea to copy from mostly plant based Japan: they use their post offices for banking. This could help billions of people get out of poverty and stay out of poverty, caused by the monopoly of corrupt banks. Co ops of small family owned, or friend owned, companies, helping each other succeed, can also help promote a 'plant based economy.' Plant based companies might want to work with the Public Banking Institute (seems to be based in the state of Ohio). All the above is incredibly important because it seems to be getting 'hip and cool' to raise animals for slaughter. Plant based people need to help 'Cultured Meat' succeed as probably the only way to end cruelty in raising animals for slaughter. There is just not enough time to convince 8 billion people that going vegan is worth the change: about 95% of these people will never get over the excuse of "I like the taste of meat." It seems that ALL plant based companies have made the mistake of selling their product to large families, large cans, (one third a can is much better for single people!!! the unused portion tastes awful the next day!!!), large boxes, two large 'paddies' (which taste awful the next day), instead of just one tiny (one to four bites max) as a 'bargain sample size' under one dollar, sold at the thousands of 'Dollar Store' or similar, in most cities all over the USA, etc. This is where millions of college students shop, trying to make every dollar stretch as much as possible. College students are more willing to try something 'new' compared to older people, stuck in their ways. College students are time crunched with incredible amounts of daily reading, etc., and don't have time to really shop, cook, clean. This is why the sample 'one to four bites at only 99 cents' is worth selling at EVERY convenience store, 'Dollar Store', etc. If the same 'cultured meat' company sells their product for both people and pets, the general public should think: if it is safe enough for people, then it should be safe enough for my treasured cat or dog (just less spices, etc., tested by veterinarians). Millions end up feeding their cat or dog exactly the same meat they are eating anyway. They are not supposed to, but they do it after their pet bites into it when they are not looking. Onions, garlic, sauces, are all supposed to be toxic for pets, so this is important. Also, cats can be killed by eating dog food. It is important to follow: 'for cats'; 'for dogs'; 'for people'; but all 'cultured meat companies' can help save about 8 billion pets by keeping the potential pet food price as low as possible. The melamine plastic poison in pet food scandal (to fill factory quotas for 'protein') could be prevented again by the USA taking the lead with selling 'cultured meat' as cat and dog food, with as many different names, labels as possible, just at it was discovered that the 'big box stores' sell about ONE company selling their same crap under many different label names!!! Probably the only way to do this is to also match the low price with a tiny sample eating size. Pets can be incredibly picky about what they eat, even if it supposed to be 100% healthy. Different breeds probably prefer different food. I really want 'cultured meat' to REALLY succeed in order to help save 8 billion people, 8 billion pets, 8 billion different endangered species, going extinct every day. For 'Cultured Meat Chefs': This has to be done carefully: if the cats and dogs won't eat the 'cultured meat' then their owners or guardians won't waste money buying it!!! AMAP Have a Great Day!!!
