Luna the Husky gets a big surprise when we convert a play space for her with Giant Tennis Balls , Dog Toys and more for her very own Dog's Day Out ! Huskies are amazing dogs and she proves it. But this is a 24 hour challenge because these puppies are available for adoption in 24 hours. We have to do the entire makeover in 24 hours. The good news is Luna the Husky brings all of her friends. A greyhound names Snoopy, Yorkshire terrier named Kelly some Pit Bulls Rhonda and Ralph and more. We even make a special hotdog game for a puppy named nugget. Rescue dogs deserve love and a home just like any other dog that's why I am happy to bring you this heartwarming animal video showcasing some shelter dogs that could use a loving home. Huskies are high energy and high maintenance. You have to be ready for a Husky. They are awesome.

Unfortunately, huskies are one of those breeds that are often adopted because of their looks but adoptive families didn't do enough research and weren't prepared for a truly high maintenance, high energy dog.

The thing that breaks my heart is seeing dogs in shelters, the last time I went there I started to cry, when knowing that these dogs are being loved by such amazing people makes me so happy thank you for doing what you do.
I agree most of the shelter dogs are such amazing dogs but so much of them are in shelters so yea seeing them getting homes and being loved is what makes me happy. ❤

I adopted a dog from the pound last April so I'm not looking to adopt another right now (plus this video is 2 yrs old). I hope they all found good homes, they deserve it. But, if I were looking to adopt, I would want the small one that just wants to be held all the time.

Huskies are a special breed that needs a special home with owners who realize their special requirements. Huskies are large dogs with super high energy and are bred to be part of a working pack and...are genetically presupposed for a cold climate. As a result, there are not too many people or homes that can successfully fulfill a husky's needs. I know that shelters are trying to get homes for all their dogs, but...to be fair and honest with possible adoptees, they need to inform people of a husky's special requirements for it to be a truly healthy and happy dog. Most people simply can not meet those needs. Shelters would be doing everyone a favor; and help prevent "returns" back to the shelter...if they were more upfront with a husky's needs.

I have a staffy cross Pitbull, 3 years old , he's naughty funny and loving , we had a rescue British bulldog Willow she was 5, we only had her for 11 months, kidney failure, is what she died of, so sad, we will always remember her
