    You need to understand that Senegal is an ISLAMIC COUNTRY with about 97 percent Muslims. THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO COMPETE With Nairobi in terms of night life . its a conservative nation. Its like comparing Apples to Oranges . You will never find a buzzing night life there and that is Okay (and I am not Muslim). Its like comparing the night life of Qatar to Paris. Two different worlds . In such places the clubs are usually for expats and visitors and a few residents , most citizens live conservative life styles, they may dress western , but if 60 to 90 percent don't drink alchahol or don't want to be seen drinking in public and the girls do not want to be seen sleeping around or having random babies outside of wedlock or hanging out in clubs, then clubs wont be buzzing ofcause and thats okay because they do not care about that. Understand the culture of a place before you compare . Such countries want to be developed and modern BUT NOT ADOPT WESTERN LIFESTYLE. Trying to be western + clubbing and alchahol and being too open (or too easy) is why you have such a large number of out of wedlock baby mama's in Kenya , the country with the largest baby mamas in Africa.

    In West Africa you have to either go online (Tinder and others) cold approach anywhere or make friends to get into social networks. Friends would bring you to parties and bingo, there would meet the good women that don't go to clubs and would stay married to you no matter what for hundreds or years. Those women would be disowned and excommunicated by their own parents and family if they even think about leaving a good man.

    I've been to that museum. I hope Brother's Kebab is owned by a Brother, there was a bigger Kebab restaurant called Ali Baba. More people are out on Fridays because its the day Muslims worship. If you simply ask people, not just Google, they will give you info on party life, and probably inform you of the religious cultural event this night. When I lived there it was probably 2/3 men 1/3 women but I don't know if clubs open at Midnight because thats the time we'd entered and the dancing would be worth your wait. Its also good to experience the music and vibes. Most African women have many duties at home, but come out for weddings and naming ceremonies, clubbing to a lesser extent, and they would move with a date or friends. Many of those men will go home and cover their wives.
    You don't go to Senegal without an excursion to the Gambia. Its probably less expensive, same culture in English and you don't have to take a flight. Its like a road trip between Austin, Dallas, or Houston.

    Excellent content about culture and everyday life in Africa. I'd say Senegal, like any other Sahel country is primarily Muslim, women just don't go to nightclubs like that unless they're Christian or otherwise and even that might be considered degeneracy. The Muslim who go are most likely accompanied by their partners or family members.
    On the other hand, I suspect panafricans would love your content, which is becoming more appealing to the 40 yo and above. Panafricanism is not about fun stuffs for the kids, it's a grown black folks' goal of uniting and promoting black people against white supremacy, consequences/remnants of slavery and colonialism. A thing MLK, Bob Marley, Malcom X, Mandela, Mohamed Ali or Kwame Nkrumah all would likely be doing if they were alive today.

    Bro... you're doing good but making amateur mistakes! I expect more from you. You motivate me and I hope to be of use as well. You need to get your American driver's license and rent vehicles when you touchdown. No matter how small or beat down. This whole yango, uber, taxi life is not as glamorous as it seems and it eats money. That way you can move more swift with the babes. It would be a better overall vlog. These African girls are gold diggers as well. I'm sure you know that by now. I feel you are tiring a bit and that is affecting the content. You are happier with a girl. Find one you can travel with. The whole Indiana Jones is a bit played out. And also a gym buddy. Those dudes in Tanzania even though they're local they had you moving out of your comfort zone. Senegal seems like a cool spot but it wouldn't be on my bucketlist in terms of partying on the continent. Nairobi, Joburg, Cape Town, I heard Kampala got somewhat of a sophisticated night scene as well. Every other major city in Africa you need to have local contacts to make it a thrill and a quality experience (or your own ride). You're better with a female companion. You hit the club midnight and by 2 am you're outta there! Either that or just go to a popular hotel bar. Bar 1 or 2 exceptions, African societies are traditional for the most part and conservative. We still have a long way to go in terms of customer service, nightlife etc. Nightlife is on the wane worldwide too. Africa we haven't gotten there yet. Contacts! Use those dating apps.

      @Hippobottomless 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good advice! U always need a local contact to have the best experience. And ur right it’s cheaper to just rent a car n if u don’t want to drive u can always hire a driver for that week ur in that country and it will still be cheaper than Ubering around

    I have no idea of why you had that experience. I can only speculate. Remember that Senegal is a majority Muslim country. You went out on a Friday night and I believe Friday is their holy day. So it’s like going out to a club on a Sunday night in the states. Also, being a majority Muslim country, it’s possible that clubbing is not something that Muslim women typically do. Maybe it’s more for tourists. Just guessing.

My Muslim family is not into the party scene at all. However, he seemed to appreciate the other things Senegal has to offer, which is nice. Sad, that he didn't realize that religion is a much more significant factor in Africa. Muslim women also have more children and get pregnant more so the chances of them being out clubbing alot are slim. Even in Nigeria you see the Christian parts of the country you will find women dressing like black women in Atlanta and Miami, the Muslim parts is a completely different story, more conservative and family oriented.
