How many lures can I design in Fusion 360 within 1 hour?

    I took 1 hour to sit down and test myself to see how many fishing lures I could design in Autodesk Fusion 360 within 60 minutes. I used some designs people sent me on Instagram for the first 2, these were from rough sketches taken off of the cell phone. I think they turned out pretty good and hopefully what the original author was intending. I then designed two completely original designs on the fly, although they weren't the most complex lures ever imagined I kind of liked the 4th design and may improve it for injection molding in the future.

    If you have any lure design ideas and want to see what they would look like in 3 dimensional space I have set up a subreddit at:
    reddit.com/r/revampedoutdoors
    Where you can post submissions and or other photos concerning 3D printing, I may use your submissions in a future video!
    Overall this was a good learning experience and made me take CAD a little more seriously to test myself, although fusion 360 can be a little hard to learn once you understand the basics the program can allow you to do some pretty amazing things. Every time I open the program I learn a little more about my projects and the CAD process. #notsponsored #3dprinting #customfishinglures

    if you use fewer spline points, your curves will look nice and smooth

    Good videos. Do you make resin 2 piece molds

    • @RevampedOutdoors
      @RevampedOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do silicone 2 pieces, I've tried vac50 hard molds and they work well but the silicone just seems to be easier to work with.

    Hey man one more question! Is there a material in fusion 360 that is close to plastisol? I'm trying to calculate the weight that my lure will be but cant find that matieral.

    • @RevampedOutdoors
      @RevampedOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've only ever gone off of volume calculations based on the un heated plastisol for estimations. I'm not sure which plastic would be similar in weight I'll look into it though I'm sure there is an option that's somewhat close.

      I don't, just doing it for fun. If you got a revolutionary design that is not in patent already, hit me up at revampedoutdoors@gmail.com. we can work something out for sure!
