Man, I'm sure that Takehito Koyasu is acting his heart out as Kenshiro here, like he does in every other role....but I just can't unhear Dio. Once you've heard Koyasu as Dio, it's impossible to hear his voice as anything but a flamboyant, ridiculously evil blonde vampire.
This guy isn't too bad. He did Zech's voice from Gundam Wing and Aojiki from One Piece, so he's not a total dog. But I do agree, no one will EVER replace Akira Kamiya as Kenshiro.
Allegedly there were Shaolin styles that could do some serious damage, maybe not to that degree but with hardcore conditioning and a decade of cat style push ups Dim Mak could shut off blood flow, cause organ failure, internal bleeding or in the case of 10,000 Bee's Attacking cause the nervous system to go into super fibromyalgia mode and attack the entire body like the name suggests.

this series is known as New Hokuto no ken. This is an OVA consisting of three episodes. This can be confused with the 5 movies that are known as the Hokuto No Ken Legends. However I can also tell you that the New Hokuto No Ken was only subbed for the first OVA the second and third were never subbed

I'm going to tell you that Hokuto Shinken can only be used by it's successor...and Raoh...and Toki...and Jagi...and Ryuuken...but that's about it. Also Amiba, but other than those guys only the successor can use it.
I'd say it's more stupidity, ego...the sin of pride. He underestimated his opponent and overestimated himself. Lack of confidence can get you killed, just the same for being too confident and letting your guard down and doing things that rationally you wouldn't.
@Rampageotron the people who practice it (who aren't the successor) are fated to suffer either a physical disability (like Toki) or go insane/agressively violent and angry beyond control (like Raoh and Jagi) . That's why there can only be one successor.
