As a TH-cam creator who just started creating, I totally understand. There is a certain boundary you have to stay in if you want to get views, reach audiences, etc. It's all fun but if you crave that experimentation and true freedom you need to take a bet on yourself. I feel this so heavily. However I don't have the audience / time (gotta make an income / 9-5) to dedicate to purely being a creator. One day I will be full time. But I say that to keep a soft reminder that as a creator (Hindz) TH-cam is the avenue that when you express your creations we can support you by following / buying, whatever the creation may be. Hello from Toronto! (As someone considering on moving to British Columbia) a TH-cam channel, in my opinion - needs to be built upon the personality of the PERSON themselves. And I find that, if people tune in to the personality of the person - then they must make you feel a certain way? If this were, joy. No matter what the person is creating, from baking bread to writing - they will be on board because if they can still experience the feeling that you have brought them before then you can maintain a follower. It’s all YOU
There's definitely a difference between TH-cam creator vs using TH-cam as a tool for your studio practice. There's definitely benefits to YT as a tool for bigger projects. I just started 3 weeks ago for my full-time art practice and have already seen benefits of community building.

i encourage you all to create a physical book library not only on knowledge to learn but to safeguard knowledge and the preservation of history books at least get one book at a time thats 6000 years of knowledge and history at your finger tips you can also buy and preserve roman swords templars shields etc even be a recorder of history write in a diary history that day or take pictures and label the date names location weather etc

I started using twitch (and youtube a little) to bridge the gap, but I'm almost 40 and there are days where I feel like i'm surviving and not thriving. Thank you for being honest. TH-cam is a business at the end of the day, and the algorithm is there to let TH-cam know if you're good for business or not. If we aren't helping to promote other businesses or promoting our own, I don't think TH-cam has the capacity to truly cater to creatives or the idea of growing community that can evolve together. As a creator who is watching my channel die because I never meant to create from a box, I wish you so much luck with your book.
