You are a great teacher! I appreciate the time you took to explain the little details others don't mention. I'm preparing to start my first Laura Heine pattern this week. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much for making this video!💖
Thanks for sharing these awesome prep tips!
Thank you for this video. It is great. I learned so much.
The background looks so fun!!!
Great video - first one I’ve watched which has answered the questions I’ve had in my head.
Your video was a big help. Thank you!!!
Oh this is so helpful for those of us who can't get to a workshop! I agree with Barbara, I'd like to see the whole process! I bought the Nola kit and am terrified I'll mess it up!
You make me want to find out where you are just to take a class. Best video I I seen.
Excellent video!!!!! Very well explained!!
Great instructions, thanks!
Nice tutorial. Great tips with awesome ideas. Thanks ~ Jan

Great tutorial!
Awesome instructions and I feel I am ready to get started now 😊
That's wonderful! So glad we could help!
Hi, Tisha! I recently took a Laura Heine Collage class in Austin TX. Loving the process and am working on it days after the class. Wanted you to know how very helpful I found your video. Am getting ready to prepare the florals (I’m doing ‘Old Blue’), and am ready to press on (pun intended 😜) and do some fussy cutting after watching your excellent instruction. Thanks!!
April Stanaland so glad you found it helpful!
Not Your Mama's Quilt Store- was also pleased to see on your website you are in Plano. That’s just up the road! May have to plan a little trip in the fall.
April Stanaland old blue is my next project too. I finished the pink Cadillac and it came out fabulously. Her patterns are amazing!
Dee Huffman yes they are! I have the bee pattern but haven’t tried it . . . yet. 😊
Excellent video. Great tips and clear instructions. Would love to do a class with you. Pity the commute from Australia is so long! 😁
Cheryl Saul look up Veronica Appleyard who is a certified Laura instructor. I just did a class in Canberra this weekend and it was awesome! And she does travel and has all Laura’s patterns.
Just watched Laura Heine - she said BE SURE to use STEAM to correctly bond the “Steam a Seam”
Hence the word Steam in “Steam a Seam”
You can use a dry sheet(like Bounce) to wipe the glue off you pressing sheet. It’s faster and easier than using your nails.
What?!?!!! Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
Have they come out with left handed karen kay Buckley scissors yet?
Where do you buy these fibers which you are showing ?
What size do get in Laura scissors? Are they a 6”
Are you going to have any more online class on art quilts
Use parchment paper instead of iron sheet, use small Rotary cutter Instead of scissors it’s faster.
Laura Heine uses Steam a seam 2 , not the lite stuff so this is confusing.
I was always tol to use steam to seam 2 ONLY....not the lite one.
Some of the newer patterns say to use the Lite. 🤷🏻♀️
