Great job. I've been cutting my own hair since 1989 and I'm a barber as well. I've discovered that when doing my line ups, using the side angle can get you a very precise line because you can see the line a lot closer. It will take a couple of cuts to get use to it but you'll see the vision.

Great self cut 4 the beard came in overnight lol. The craziest thing I noticed with a lot of self cut fades is being unable to flick out the guidelines lol pushing the gaurds through looks crazy but it works 😂

You did good. You just need to use other techniques for a better blend. Using the rake method will help you get those lines out. Always comb as you blend. Practice makes perfect. Good job.

Rose marry oil helps with balding, you can you a derma roller to help apply it to the scalp
