Very talented stylist and no reflection on his talent, it just doesn’t look like the best choice for this man’s face and head shape.
That's what makes the difference between technique and real artistry. Learning to do one haircut that isn't for everyone is what happens when you don't have enough experience.

This is where being a professional comes in, and I'm sorry to say, you may not have had the experience to understand that the head shape in the back, and forehead shape in the front did not look good with that cut or the Caesar bangs. Double fail.

We were taught in Barber 💈 College to do it.
Buddy went from looking like a WWE character. And left looking like security at a night club.
Now he has church lady bangs from 1950. All he needs now is some bedazzled cat eye glasses and a string of pearls.
Have you considered donating the hair lengths to an organisation such as Cancer Research as we have in the UK? It might be worth thinking about when your next client has a lot of lengthy hair cut short, it will make a massive difference to some cancer patients in treatment who wish to have a wig woven from real hair and not synthetic rubbish.
The UK is not the only place that people donate hair. There are rules about hair to be donated. The general health of the hair, it must be a certain length, it cannot be color treated. I think in my area of The USA it's called Locks of Love.

So true. Probably they didn't know about it. I donated in NYC to Locks of Love. My naturally straight hair was virgin (never dyed) and waist length. I again, donated to Wigs for Kids here in Florida. My hair has grown back past my waist again. Never dyed. Very little white.
I didn't really get to see the front view of him but that cut took years off his face and his hair is going to grow on the top so he can slick it back or mess with it. So it's no big deal! The sides and the back look really good and you cleaned up the beard real well!

I can see patches of uneven hair Ken I think this type of hair needs more scissor work than just clipper. I got heavy thick asian hair, and cutting with the grain does not work for my case.

I hate seeing hair cut with clippers because anyone can do that but a professional cut with scissors is harder and far more professional. I don’t like a fringe on a man and think this guy would have looked better with a short undercut with rough, tussling hair on top brushed back and let to fall naturally. Sad to say but this guy had his beautiful hair cut and there was so much to work with instead of a bowl cut.

Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of you Ken! But this haircut missed the mark "for me". At the end of the day the client looked pleased. And maybe it's a cultural thing as well. The gentleman looks better but this particular hair cut or style was not for him- it looked like a bowl cut and the bangs shouldn't have been bangs it would've looked better spiked or something- didn't expect tht look- but it the client is happy thts what counts!

I have not been to a barber in 62 years, trim & comb, Flobee, and just scissors. Both my wife and I have kept me looking decent. I gave my son his first haircut at 2 weeks of age🥰

Sorry for all the negative comments. I can see very fine hair and not a great skull shape to work with. Fellow looked pleased enough in the end, and in my experience cuts can tend to look better a few days later. His hair has been subject to a lot of pulling from the length of hair he'd had for long. Beard is looking good. Major change? Oh yes! You achieved that.
I personally don’t like the new look, but why on earth waste that long hair. Cancer patients would love it for wigs. 👎
