Dropping at the spoiler part coz this feels like a game I'll enjoy I'll just note that the video quality does not reflect the view and wish the algorith blesses you with its attention at some point
Just started the game after completing DK2 for its 25th anniversary, seems good so far (3 missions in) - had to quit your video halfway due to spoilers but good video, good luck with your channel.
Brightrock are dodgy AF. They released the game knowing that it was in a broken state, internally decided to say nothing and just release it as is, because they were broke and needed money to continue developing the game. Now forgive me if i'm wrong, but knowingly selling someone something under false pretenses, even if you work very hard to rectify the issues at a later date...is still scamming. Now they pretend like this wasn't the case, they say the issues at launch were all overblown, players made up issues etc etc. Also releasing a docu-series which was pure yarn spinning and a retelling of events they'd already talked about, but wanted to re-write. Then they release Galacticare, which it was nowhere near as broken as WFTO at launch, had a whole host of issues including whole mechanics just not working, plus the overall gameplay loop being: just copy paste another room. Both games launched with stuff just not working and being pretty threadbare... All i'm saying is don't trust these devs.
I think I picked up the game late enough to miss all that initial drama, it makes sense given how bare some of the gameplay can be at times, thanks for letting me know I was on the fence about getting galacticare not going to now
