Thanks for the Video Hilton, my gate moves then stops. Then moves again and stops again. Suspect its the Dos sensor like you say. Tried reseting limits but then just moves quickly one direction then other and stops again. Doesnt move slowly to end stop and back. Ill have a go and clean the dos sensor tomorrow (Fingers crossed it will work) but thanks for the Video
Forgot to mention its a D3 older motor simular in your Video and did replace Battery with new one. Checked all fuses and relays latches fine. Initially thought that the Collision sensitivity is too low and tried changing to 3level where gate stops with difficulty but this also didn't help. After looking at your video I suspect the dos sensor so will open there where you said where you turn to release gate and clean dos sensor also.
Is there a way to test the Dos sensor ? Gate still doing the same. When programing limits it moves slightly stops then goes back slightly then stops again
Hi, I have a D5 with the old motherboard. I am considering buying the D5 EVO motherboard to upgrade the old motherboard. Is this doable, would you happen to know if I require any other extras before I commit myself to this purchase?
I have checked and replaced all the fuses. I have changed the battery, the charger and now the main power supply, but it keeps giving the low battery warning and stops maybe a meter after opening and everything goes off. If I connect a separate charger on the battery and let it charge that way it opens fine until the battery is to low. The diagnostic screen shows the battery at 13V and the charger at 14V. What can be the problem?
@@johanleroux7140 Unfortunately not. Something very strange is going on. The electricians that came out can't find any problems. They said I should replace the entire unit, now my supply seems to be switching polarities every week
Morning Hilton. My Evo shows the remotes triggering the controller but does not trigger the motor to run. Already reseted to factory settings no change. Re added the remotes no change. Motor open and closes gate when using the test button. Help please. J
Hi when you programmed your gate motor your neighbours may have been pressing their remotes and now they opening your gate , best to re-program your remotes
sounds like your disengage is stuck. Happened to me now. turn it to disengage as far as you can and use something to try and pry the gate open. should force it to disengage. should not take a lot of force as soon as the gate moves a bit turn the dial to engage again, pull on the gate a little then try to disengage it again
Hi,, My D5 Evo says Gate Drive Failure , what could be the problem a new battery was installed 4 months ago, checked all wires and fuses all ok,battery checked using multi meter
Check the green plug on the right hand side of pc board, 4 wires it mounts into a plug on the pc board they can come loose or fail, take pc board into centurion they can fix or give you a service exchange
@@aubreymatodlana924 check the doss sensor, my D5 motor has an older one that's a black box on the bottom right side under a green box, it was full of sand from ants once i cleared it and connected it my gate started working properly.
@@kabelolethale8663, reset the limits and put something on the track before the gate closes, like a hammer or heavy object about 1meter on the track, then if the gate stops there then you know its picking it up

Hi, our gate motor opens by itself immediately after we close it. What could be the issue? Our battery still seems fine thou.
I had the same problem, I set the limits again of the gate and it worked great.

L1 is flashing twice and no status light help please
Only when Load shedding ..Gate closes 100% and then opens ..after 1 or 2 times it closes ..The battery and in side 12-+ is 12.7 volts Why ????
My gate is stops half way when opening and when I press remote again it closes slowly. What could be the problem?
Could be that your battery is finished

How to fix if sceeen switches off whilst the gate open
Replace battery
I changed the battery & it still opes half way or quater way
Let it charge the battery
These gate motors have way to many issues. This is coming from a technician who works on them often.
