Thank you very very very much, you just made my day… tried this and it worked, I have been burning calories opening my gate for almost a week until I came across your video 🤙🏾
Ive come across this fault in the past. It's not common and the board displays a motor fault and not a doss fault as it should . Often it can also be a bad motor wire connection on the board. I had it show this out of box because the terminal connection was not tightened properly on assembly. Good tip to look out for . I always carry test boards, doss and inner motors to eliminate faults . These are fantastic motors and I swear vy them . I used them for near on 20 years amd been through all their models.
@@TheInfamousBlood It's does have a doss just not in the same place . Check you connections and the motor wire connection onto the PCB . If it's showing drive fault it may be that the wires are loose . I've also had it in occasion that the battery connecter on the board was not making good contact . It's hard to tell without checking onsite . Been in the industry over 20 years and still come across odd faults .b
Brilliant Jubert, baie dankie! My error was "Drive Fault" but I figured close enough. Disconnected the charger and power (which was only battery at the time, loadshedding 🙄). I unplugged the other thingy but this motor's only a few months old so just put it back in. Then plugged power & charger back in... et voila! I guess this amounts to a restart of the system. Reboot for older folk... or IPL for us real old-timers 😂
ExACTly! This has subsequently saved me SO much PT on those occasions when I press the button, forgetting the padlock's still on - the motor REALLY throws its toys and the board is left in utter disarray.
Mine its written motor fault i called the same person who did the installation and he is charging me an arm an a leg😢😢i have eatched this video and tried follow your instructions im still not winning im not sure if maybe im not scratching the right part on the dos sensor the gatemotor is only 3 years old
Check the motor wire connections on your board . Sometimes it's a simple as it's not making proper contact. I've been in the industry 20 years plus and have come across this doss fault in the vid . Most times the motor can be repaired . I have sometimes had to replace the control card as the board is faulty but only once I've tested everything else . I always carry tests boards and doss kits to eliminate any other issues . Sometimes I'll fit a test part and have the client run their motor for a few days just to make sure it's sorted out then come back with a replacement part if needed . Good advice in the vid .
Pls my machine is just a month old and d control board went off and refused to on again. Initially, it on nd showed rest all power nd under it it writes"waiting for co-processor" I took another board to d machine nd d board is working with d machine Bt is showing me tor failure. Please how can I resolve it. Thakks
The old Centurion D5 gate motors were great, now they brought out this new crap, that gives me loads of trouble, from working perfectly on day and the next day not, I get an error "too many collisions"Now WTF does that mean and how do I fix it?

What do I do with the wheel thing? I think that’s why my gate won’t work should I make the wheel tight or loose send help
And if you changed the dos sensor would it work ?
So after unpowering the mainboard completely, it still remembers the open/close routine? I.e. you don't need to reprogram it?
ExACTly! This has subsequently saved me SO much PT on those occasions when I press the button, forgetting the padlock's still on - the motor REALLY throws its toys and the board is left in utter disarray.
Baie dankie

Please help. I get error saying "Setup fail, no end stops found"...I do have end stops and it was working fine all along

Sounds like the sensor had too much corrosion and is beyond repair. Either that or the motor got physical damage.
@@jubertvos3126 that's too bad 😪😪😭😭😭
