    Wow! What a great tutorial! Thank you so much for including the Cricut in your video. My mother-in-law gave me hers, but for the life of me, I can barely use the darn thing. Even though I know what a value it would add to my artistry. Your willingness to provide such in-depth tutorial videos to the masses is such a gift. I hope you are aware that when you share it with us, we, the struggling creatives, are truly and gratefully blessed. Nothing else matters, Steve. You matter to us, and we need you. We love and adore you. Everything will be okay!

    I think it always helps to "complete" the package. A long time back (1980s and 90s) my mum used to sell a lot of home grown plants at markets and garage sales around significant days of the year like Christmas and Mother's Day... no cricut or resin, but her plants always sold really well because she added a plain bamboo type skewer/chopstick with nice curling ribbon on it and a small blank gift card -- would always sell out at the markets very quickly vs the other stallholders. So much so that for years people would come back and look for her, or even after a garage sale at home, knock on the door on other non-sale weekends and randomly ask if she had any plants for sale! Of course she always had some more underway and had the sticks with ribbons and cards ready to go.

    I do the same thing with my etched glass that are candle holders or candy dishes. I add a candle or full the candy dishes with candy that has wrappers. That way they can see how it looks. Great idea , Steve & I just love the plant idea. How adorable & with Mother's Day around the corner ( not sure if you celebrate that there) that would be ideal gift to give.

    Cricut Maker 3, fab, I love mine. Great vid Steve, and thanks for the recommendation on the high viscosity UV resin a while back, I use it a lot now. Interesting to see other people doing the out
    line with the UV first now - I thought I was the only one who found that easier lol

    I am very new to this and only got into it because my little dog died and I wanted a little key ring with his hair in it, however, I can’t get a nice clear pendant as they all turn out dull and cloudy. What am I doing wrong? Is it the product, I am using OUHOE arts and crafts uv resin hard.
    Any help greatly appreciated 👍🏻

    How safe is the resin for the plants? 🌱⚕️Could it Leach chemicals over time that would harm them or if for example you're using them for kitchen herbs could it add toxic chemicals for us? Would using them outdoors in the garden add to the risk? How safe are these resins to use outdoors in a garden setting for various decorations, plant labels or otherwise? Both for the resin and for the plants and the people involved if I have an organic vegetable garden should I keep my resin plant labels only to decorative indoor plants?
    I live in Phoenix Arizona which is very harsh in terms of heat and sun with a good part of the year over 100° F and a lot more days than I'd like over 110° F. Most plastic items disintegrate if left outside for long periods. How would resin hold up? Can I make my own garden decorations and plant markers and expect them to last? Would they be safe to use in an organic veggie garden? 🤞Fingers crossed I could have a lot of fun decorating if I can make whatever I want 🤩, but if it's going to get destroyed or negatively impact the health of my plants or, as a food garden, my self and my family I'd have to keep it to just some of the decorative indoor plants.😢
    I'm really hoping that there's a kind of resin that would be safe for me to make little pots and markers for herbs and veggies without having to worry. Are there any food safe resins? 🤞

    • @EAZ36588
      @EAZ36588 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      P.s. why did you choose not to extend the resin over the rest of the label down the spike for example since that would help make it more waterproof I would think. but then that would also make it easier for it to leech chemicals into the soil. is that part of the reason?
