I actually made my own raindrop pendant experiments because of Daniel's video! It's so nice to see Steve's version, too! They came out looking really good!
OMGoodness... I actually got here first !! Just watching now but have no doubts this is another of your great experiments & I'll be working it into my work soon. Just got some new great molds & have been working a lot with beads in resin ;)
Excellent Steve! I especially love the earrings! I look forward to the video about UV resin. Thank you for all the experiments you do and the effort you put into all of your videos, they are always really fun and interesting to watch. I have learned so much from them. God bless you and all those you know and love. Have a great week!
Thank you, I always learn new things watching your videos! The gems, I tried to find them in your Amazon store front and the links, but I am notoriously bad at finding things, so I could only find nail art gems... so if you have any advise on how to find them, I would be ever so grateful.
I have seen quite a few doing these raindrops now and tbh I am on the fence about it. I think in certain projects it looks really cool and in others it looks more like large bubbles which is ironic given how we take such care to get all the bubbles out of the resin pieces. Maybe I just need to try it myself and see it first hand.
I just ordered a couple items through your Amazon link to try the rain drop effect, along with some items I found that I have no idea what I'm going to do with yet 😅 Great video Steve. Thank you ❤
Thank you. I just had butterfly mold first use and the resin stuck. I was able to save some of the butterflies. Thank you. I will definitely do that with my molds from now on.
H Hi Steve. I don't understand why you have to use a dark background color. These are nice, but I'd like to see the colored stones more. I wish that you would've done a few with a lighter background to compare, or so that we could see what happens. But still, I love your videos, and thankx for all of the experiments that you do.
So the plastic gems sort of melt in the resin, does that mean you can't insert cured resin into wet resin & expect it to maintain its shape? What if I covered it with Mod Podge? Would that help at all? Thank you so much for sharing, Steve! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🩵🩵🪷⚡✨🫶🏼
I am still having problems with bubbles. What is the best way to get all the bubbles out? Do I need to have a pressure pot? I know I can use torch but I am afraid it will damage my silicone molds. Right now I am using hot air fan and alcohol spray. It helps but I am never 100% sure will it be bubble free. Does pressure pot always give bubble free items?
😂 I love when you mix up words, or do you in fact have a longnecktorch 😅 I hope the earrings only look but doesnt smell like Emmentaler 🤭 Really nice results
Careful putting your molds directly on those lamps…I’m have had them melt from the heat of the lamp before… now, I place the molds on a piece of clear acrylic I got from a polymer clay kit… it fits perfectly between the legs of my uv lamp… I love these pieces you have made… you do such great work… I always look forward to what you do next!!!!!!
Great results Steve 🤩😊 Thanks for the shout out too! 🥰
@danielcooper I love when you are mentioned as the master of alcohol inks! Way to go Steve! ❤❤❤❤
You are a great teacher.

Love these! Can I ask what brand the black mica is? I haven't been able to locate a true black mica

Thank you for sharing. Why does resin stick to the mold at first use?
I love your tricks to the trade. Have a blessed week.

Fab technique! Thanks Steve 😊 Please can you tell me what size bales (bails? I don't know) you buy, thanks 😊

Can’t wait to try these! I’ve had a bit of a resin break because of the lurgy and not having my corner sorted but I got back into it earlier!!

I didn't catch the name of the man who excels at Alcohol Inks. Would you pass it on to me please. That is another craft form I love. Thanks, Steve
I don't see the link to the Alcohol Ink artists channel that you promised ?

Thanks Steve Wendy from New Zealand.
Me> stops dead in the middle of supper and looks at emmental cheese
Actually might be a cool effect...
Sure wish you gave in-person lessons.
why do I never get an answer?.... is it because I'm Belgien?..... anyway I like your video's
There are some women out here who like smaller ear rings. Why do you always do such large stuff for ear rings?
Turned out really pretty!
Your vides are getting shorter and shorter
Your one big advert.😢
