Hi David, I'm using matek f405 vtol fc on the same X8 skywalker. With 4 40a hobbywing esc and 4 flashhobby 650kv motors and 4 12x8 propellers. Setup as H quadplane. Can you share you pid numbers. My plane kept on tipping over to the front in qstabilise, qhover and qloiter modes. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

hmmmm my idea was to run a tube through the fuselage then use a t connector with step down on both sides to join it to the rear wing rods, and use something like the Altus v-tail mount, but a bigger version as that plane is almost 1/3 the size of this thing. i'd most likely have to find someone who can take the altus v-tail mount and print one 3x bigger.
For this design I was just thinking the standard 3 motor setup, but again I'd have to sort out the vtol conversion.
There's a video where someone shows a conversion kit but I can't find the kit anywhere.
My brain was like "ohh look, and entire front of a plane all you gotta do is run a tube through it, slap a tail on it and do the vtol conversion"
I mean, I'd rather spend the under $300 usd for this shipped and then mod it then spend like 2-3k on foam
