This movement is awesome! I feel it pretty much stretch my entire anterior chain - all the way from my pecs down to my toes. Love it. I had a pinched nerve in the front of my left hip that was playing up during segmental rolling, and this is really helping to floss it. Thanks Tim. BTW, do you have any good stretches for psoas? This one seems to hit it a bit, but wondering if you had any others.
So great to hear it's helpful! For the Psoas, imagine laying down on a couch with your right leg off the couch and the bottom of your right foot on the floor. It's not as much a movement, but it stretches the psoas. If you hang out there and breathe deep into your pelvis, it becomes a movement!
Would this be your recommended exercise for improving ankle dorsiflexion for stiff ankles? My goal is to be able to squat without heels coming off the floor. Thanks!
It can. Rocking in general, with the feet in plantar flexion may be really helpful for the shins as well. There is a chance this may be somewhat helpful too: th-cam.com/video/FrCFzI_vjhQ/w-d-xo.html
I had some very blocked feet in the recent past because of much stress and standing, and then this video comes up! Amazing!
I hope it has been helpful!

Sweet sweech
The sound your mike cord makes is how my quads feel when I try the big rock
Sometimes the parts do talk to us.

Have done and you are right! It does feel great!
This looks amazing for my ankle rehad, after breaking it .
I hope it helps!

very good hint! thx!
Glad it was helpful!
Can this work for toes that can’t bend due to bone marrow edema?
I think it could be useful. I don’t know to what extent. I do know motion is lotion and it brings healing with it
@@OriginalStrengthSystem 🙏thank you so much for this reply. It’s been over 4 months with this condition. 😞
Does this work for shins? Is there a connection with shin tightness? I’m finding my shin muscles are prohibitive for general leg and knee flexibility.

Original Strength is there any muscle group rocking doesnt work for?
I'll bet @KneesOverToesGuy would love this one. You should try and get him on the podcast.
Thanks for the suggestion, Ben!
Knee is nowhere near the floor for me
Perhaps that’s just a “yet”. The treasure is found in moving where you can though, so you’re in a good spot.
Original Strength these videos and This rocking method is powerful. Nice how it utilizes the whole body
