Key phrases about systems undergoing tipping (usually only realized in the rear view mirror, not necessarily while they are occurring) include self-perpetuating change, irreversibility (at least on human timescales), abrupt changes or abruptness, and exponential increase in consequences. Common phrases for describing abruptness include “on the brink” (as in being on a cliff edge), “on the edge”, and being “too late” in some way. In this video there are two main scientific talks reviewing the permafrost carbon feedback potential tipping points, the second being specifically on wildfires in permafrost regions and their impacts. The planet is all connected. What happens in the North will affect the South. What I see where I live and the speed of the change in weather temp appears rapid. My thoughts on Thwaites, makes me think the base will likely be gone in 3 years and not 5. Patterns are everything. I am 100 percent sure we both will see large portions of populations of coastal cities move to higher elevations. We will both see more conflicts among nations. Today the people at the southern borders of the US is a direct result of climate change. The primary reason there will be change will be due to a Decline in world human population. Then it will be to late.

How else could one put together the Colorado River dry up. The Mississippi River Back-up. The Thwaites glacier investigations including a million dollar robotic submarine designed by a group of universities. Alaska towns having to move due to the collapse of the ground. Russian scientist on vast numbers of Methane releases 1,000's identified. Scientist saying likely to be 100's of thousands in reality. Methane is 82 times as powerful as CO2. You need to check your facts before you comment.
I would have to say the venue is entirely too loud. What thoughtless planning by the event promoters. Some sort of sound dampening would have been appreciated by not only the audiences in attendance, but also all the people trying to watch recordings of said events. Sadly, not only is it a disappointment to us, I can't imagine having to give a lecture with all that noise. It makes most of the video unwatchable for me. I have noticed this problem on others videos from the events. I find it just rude on the part of the promoters, I would have loved to hear what these people had to say. Sure am glad I did not travel and found this as event. Just pitiful, it's like the event is happening in an Airport Terminal or something. Any chance you could give us your normal rundown of the info like you do with the papers being published? That would be great, I feel certain this is something I would like to be aware of, or you would not have posted it. You do a good job in your content choices. You are helpful, thank you..

When they invented the talking movies, the audience's were quiet, obviously humanity has dumbed down due to corporate controls and silent movies with every language will need to be provided. Perhaps the providers of these expo's can be contacted - and copies with better audio can be found. Copies for politicians should be in suppository form, as they will be taped to the front of my foot - drastic delivery methods seem to be needed.
