They need to work on their homepage, perhaps make a demo version available, and at least try to show *exactly* what this thing does - at least as long as there are no demo versions available.
agreed - videos dont even play here. + how do we make our own models? Yes I get you want to sell models, thats fine. Not very cool though is it if we cant make our own, what does that do for the community
This video shows how it works: th-cam.com/video/k4pAxbuLxDc/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the note, glad you're interested in seeing more - We have more vids coming soon!
@@RussellAlderton At this time we are not offering a system that allows the user to train their own models for the Combobulator. Training high-fidelity neural networks is currently an expensive process that takes time and expertise. Being a small company, we are currently only producing boutique Artist Brains that are ethically trained on the select Artists we affiliate with. That said, we recognize the demand for users to train their own models, and we are working on a solution for the next phase of the project.
I purchased it. 15 minutes into messing around with it. Struggling to see how the "models" feature even really works and it costs $33 per model extra. Needs some more polish for sure. I hope DataMind Audio continues to support it through continuous updates and bug fixes and PLEASE give us some contextual tutorials.
Could I make my own like.. "style AI thingie" and then give that to other combobulator owners so they can transform their sounds a bit more into my direction of sounddesign, or is it reserved for the sounddesigners that you choose to be available in the plugin? if the latter, do you plan on updating combobulator with more sounddesigners' sounds from time to time?
I want to buy a complete bundle, but shelling out $250 without trying a demo feels to risky. Is there a way to get at least a one day demo or something like that?
The idea is very interesing... But I still have almost no clue as to what it sounds like when applied on various sound sources. I´d have to watch a lot more showcase videos before I spend over 100 bucks on it. Maybe upload a 10min no talking video going through some examples?
Same! I'm so intrigued but there's basically no info from any 3rd party sources and no demo, so you're essentially paying 130 bucks to beta test an unknown plugin with new tech based on the manufacturer's ad
@@bdmcohen same exact thoughts! I need a bit more confidence before I jump in for $130. Hopefully these concerns will be addressed soon-- I'll be standing by for sure!
@@edgarivan6325 I doubt they'll unlock it if they want to keep it ethical. if its unlocked people will just train it on other artists productions for sure.
AI bros are the new crypto bros. Just think, someone out there is gonna be stupid enough to pay them $199 for this unfinished additive synthesizer plugin from 2004 in the hope that they too can sound like a wasp farting through a Nokia 3310.
I honestly don’t get what this thing does, is this some kind of effect plugin? Can someone explain?

very interesting , need to try
is this based on IRCAM's Realtime Audio Variational autoEncoder?
Yeah, it's based on RAVE as per their FAQ

Where is the download link or we need to use a google to find it? x
Can't wait for the Windows VST to arrive. Will there be an iPad Pro app version at some point considering its M2 capability? Thanks👍
love it!!

Would lovvvee to see a trial version become available! I'm very curious!

somewhere they responded that you can ask for a refund if you don't like it. I'd make sure to confirm this w/ them before purchase
same here! If it were a $20 plugin then I wouldnt mind taking the risk, but at $129 I cant take that risk at the mo
No AAX version 😢
Can we train it on our own productions?
unfortunately, no... hopefully, unlocked in the (very!) near future..

How do we buy?
This is an amazing step in the right direction
Technical explanations please. I don’t care it’s innovative. I want to know what it does to judge for myself. Thanks.
Here's a tutorial video with explanations: th-cam.com/video/k4pAxbuLxDc/w-d-xo.html
😮 downloading asap!!
It's sounds like a granulation for breaks
The examples sounds great. But, is it just me or these comments sound like parody?
