Murakoze! 🇧🇮🫡
Thanks for showing the east africa trip! I have a plan to make africa tour next year, so this is useful for me :D
Hi, hope you are doing well! i have one Q: why did you go to Tanzania from Rwanda and to Burundi? Instead of going to burundi from Rwanda directly? any complications? I am planning to visit during september!
Welcome again, hope u have enjoyed
Yes! We loved our first days in Burundi! 🇧🇮
Can't wait to follow u on your plateformes
Where are you from
Be safe dear Friends, Much love frm Kigali
Murakoze!
Be careful using camera when you get in Bujumbura and i like the way fabrice made a quick announcement to be careful for thieves ❤❤
Thank you, we'll watch out! 🤓

I say it coz I saw this channel is it for rwandais
Looking forward to more of this rarely seen country. I remember learning about its location in my early teens but nothing much about the country in particular.
Good to hear! Thanks for coming with us on this journey to Burundi! 🤓
@@johnh7718 you're lying to yourself bro Burundi is not what you think that it is calm down 🔽 bro
Welcome 🤗
Thank you! 😃 How're you?
@@TheBackpacksters i am good 👍🏻😊 fine
Really enjoyed seeing Burundi. Unfortunate about the fuel situation. Why is it happening?
@sanjai. The country doesn't have much to export, so there are no foreign currency to pay for the import of petroleum products.
Thanks for watching Sanjai uncle! As @stan commented, there aren't enough foreign currency reserves to import oil which is priced in USD. Hence the abnormally high variance between the official and black market rate for USD in the country!
welcome to burundi
Murakoze!
Burundi is good ❤❤
Absolutely! 🇧🇮😊
TELL THEM EXACTELY WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN IN THIS BEAUTIFULL COUNTRY, THA WAY YOU WERE RECEIVED, PEACE AND SECURITY,... BEST FOODS,.............
Isn't that what you're seeing in this video? 😅
3 days visa for 40US is quite pricey, admired your fearless travel through unknown places. just show bit more dignified travelling, decent hotels, decent restaurants etc, remember we are with you, one question. those backpacks pls share their details and where to purchase them. thanks
We always show decent places. In this case we were staying with our Burundian friend at his home - and out of respect for his privacy, we chose not to show his home! Not sure what more is meant by dignified travelling - think we are pretty decent. Sometimes, its quite hard to find more 'fancy' stays / restaurants in some places - surely thats understandable 😅 We use 40L Decathlon Travel 100 backpacks.
welcome Burundi heart of africa
Thank you 😀
Welcome 🇧🇮🇧🇮❤
You are welcome
Murakoze! 😊
♥️♥️🇧🇮
🇧🇮🇧🇮

We're married 😃
@@TheBackpacksters okay good !
🇧🇮🇧🇮❤❤
Thank you for visiting us but next time try to go to the nice places nice hotels nice resorts ⛵️ and show us how are look like i know in bujumbura there are many ❤❤❤❤
Murakoze Lameck! We would love to visit the beautiful hotels and resorts if it were to fit in our humble travel budget. But we like to experience the real city and normal neighborhoods like the Bujumbura city centre and busy places with strong local culture like Bwiza more - those are beautiful to us!
@@TheBackpacksters you know why this days we don't like people come to visit our country especially wh. ite pe ople some comes look for views and start saying Burundi is poorest contry inthe world bla bla while those people they are poor more than us others they come without money to go to nice places and start bla bla that's why you see burundians that are not interested in you anymore
No problem if they don't want to watch us - we have only said nice things about the country! We are not like others who come for views - we came to see the country for what it really is! And if statistics say that Burundi is poor, we tried to understand why that is said. If you feel embarrassed by what places we visited in the city, then maybe you should ask why you feel so?
Hope you are going to enjoy the country. People over there are friendly and welcoming. Just try to fight the itchiness of falling an easy prey to some regional rivalities and politics. Try to be as neutral as you can in your reporting and in your conversations, do not be in the trap of promoting some naratives that do have different factors to them, be it regionally or internationally. For sure you entered the coutry with some pre-told, or google searched narrative. Just take the situation between India, Pakistan and China as an exemple or north and south India... how would an international reporter behave in Kashmir or Aksai Chin, who is the best in cricket and so on .... I love your channel and I like the uniqueness and ingredients you put in it. If there was a way to subscribe 10 times I would. Cheers!
Absolutely agree on that pre-told narratives point! Thank you enjoying our vlogs and for comtinuing to come with us on this journey!
I pray for Burundi to have development like neighboring countries like Rwanda.
Surely, they will do well! Both neighbors should help each other to succeed! 🇷🇼🇧🇮😊
Burundi where's that
In east Africa 😅
My brother stop listening and giving time to our enemies, every country has its enemy we have enemies as well, they are always talking negative against our country and us
Appreciate the opportunity to see the beauty of Burundi and the amazing kindness if it's people 🇧🇮😍
Such an unusual country. Why's everyone saying: be safe haha.
😅😅
The country is safe, just some evil minded people hate Burundi for no reason
@asoulwindow, Probably if the video was in Burundi or french, we would hear many viewpoints from Burundians but in short, it is known that there is a rivalty in the region and at its highest now. Very unlikely to see any positive comments since very few Burundians if any will see the video in english ... Take situation between India and Pakistan. Which advice would you give to someone, a foreigner about to visit Pakistan and which one would a Pakistani give ..... I hope you get the pattern.
@@logic-commentetor3258 thanks interesting. Will read up more about it
Brooh Burundi is not bad it you don't have money 🇧🇮🇧🇮🇧🇮
Burundi is not bad at all - they are nice people and places are beautiful 😊 we loved exploring Burundi!
This media show us only the bad side of Burundi is not interested 😢there is some many fancies in Bujumbura
It's not a bad side. We thought it's beautiful! There's nothing negative in this video for you to speak like this 😅
U only showed us the slam party of Burundi this is not Burundi that we know I am half Rwandan and half Burundian I know all parties
We shared with you what we saw. We loved exploring the city centre and Bwiza both. Nothing wrong in that! Not sure if you have some agenda on mind - noticing it from your other comments too! 😅
You are going to miss rwanda so much😂😂😂
Yes, Rwanda is so special! And we're curious to see its closest neighbour Burundi!
@@TheBackpackstersRwanda borders Burundi by geographical location but different in mind, it's a hostile to its neighbors 🙄
you dont have money to pay hotol you are suffer to much😅😅😅😅 but welcome Burundi
No, we didn't need a hotel because we have a very close friend in Bujumbura who we stayed with! 😊
@@TheBackpackstersyou highly welcome to our peaceful country, just ignore what our enemies are lying to you
Welcome to burundi, the poorest country on planet earth. Explore as much possible but most of all; be safe!
That's what you have to say as a genocide culprit from hostile country of Rwanda, Rwanda itself survive by rooting Congolese minerals and some favors from Uganda but goes bragging around 🤔
Wogatsindwa urinterahamwe
Thanks for the welcome! Economically poor maybe, but Burindians are so rich in the heart for kindness - this is what we are learning from the first few days in this country 😊
Be safe ....... I know Buja .......
We will! 😀
Who's watching the rwandan videos you can't watch about Burundi there's more different
Of course it is "Ishimwe" saying that! Please avoid Emotions based politics ! Stay out of politics and try to be neutral my friend. Let us leave this channel for entertainment purpose only, please!
Didn't understand this 😅
@@TheBackpacksters Was answering and advicing @IshimweEnock-ur5jy not to divert your channel from the main purpose 🙂
@@TheBackpackstersonly rwandais I know they complain ok leave our country ok
Your are known for your weird hearts to distabalize your neighbors nothing else
