Agreed on that. But the whole point of KVLT Drums I or II is to get a shitty / lo-fi drum sound for Black Metal, Punk or any other genre which is meant to sound "raw" or "unpolished." Personally, I think they all sound like shit. Can't compare with real drums.
Kids :D... "Much better sound"=more realistic and still BM (BM sound is about atmosphere and not about sounding bad btw ;)) ... Anyway I play and do BM most of time and best VSTi Drums for BM is still Superior Drummer 3. Why? 1.Tons of sounds with all EZX SDX expansions (you can dail ANY sound you wish, if you know how) 2.realism (all other vst drum companies sucks at realism mainly in fast blast, triplets, etc.) 3 . Tons of Midi libraries (and eyes you need that, because owners of can't program drums realistically...) and you save time +it can be inspirating, when writing music, and if you are also a drummer you can learn from that... 4.You can make whole mix directly in Superior Drummer 3 with build in effect that are really great. And you can share/save that whole mix as SD3 preset... No more routing in daw... That can save you hours If you use for example Reaper, and your band mate /friend /client Cubase, pro tools,... 5. work with SD3 is easy and FAST =search tool, whole mix preset.... BTW : I'v tried Kvlt drums v.1 some time ago and they sound faaaar from realistic if you play faster /fast (blast beats, generic BM stuff, etc ), also room/ambience and OHs doesn't sound natural. Maybe V.2 has improved, but from samples on YT I m concerned that I would not use that SW because it is not better than SD3 =waste of money for me.
Sablast hello! please help...I bought cvlt drums and extracted files from zip archive but can't launch vst...it seems that there is no dll file, and the daw needs this file to run vst....
Caustic 3 app. It's around $14 (free for desktop device) . I do insane BM, Doom, Breakcore/jungle drums on it. I also use an MPC2000xl and I prefer Caustic3 for blasts & skanks. Plus I use it on a busted-ass cell phone. Rock on Homeboy🤘🏽
Not as good as finding separate drum samples and editing them to your liking, but yes I understand the uses for drum VSTs since it's setup and mixing is already done for you.
The sequel we didn't know we needed until now \m/
Sounds quite authentic, especially in the mix!
One of the best plugs I bought last year, that and Northern Artillery. Ugritone overall just rules for good metal drums.
Never pick a fight with your drummer he is used to hitting things....my eyes remain black
holy shit, the sheer improvement over kvlt drums 1 this has is fucking amazing.
Hey can you give an tutorial of how to play BURZUM War?
check Simon Smith channel
Ok thanks bro
Do you use a DS-1 Pedal for the guitar tone in this video?
Nope, i used some amp vst but i forgot which one
Change the kick on the vegan tough guy kit and it makes a mean drum kit for hardcore
I can get much better sound even with free drums VSTis...
Maybe I will finally make a tutorial /preset for BM sounds.

Kvlt drums is for black metal... not for heavy metal or anything like that

I don't think your able to get kvlt drums free, I'm 14 trying to start a black project, any drum machine suggests
I always invest in things i like
Just download it illegally like any other guy with no money would do.
Rilley Goldman www.powerdrumkit.com. This is a free vst plug in that sounds really good. I use it on all my stuff. Works great in reaper.

Still. With individual samples you need to have enough round robins per layer etc. But I see your point :)
You said you weren't going to play drums... LIES ! ^^
;P
Звук у барабашек что то не особо впечатляет
да, но они сухие и с добавкой эквалатзера и компресии, все ок
