Not really a Tele guy, but if I were to get one it would have to be "murdered out", all black everything with a dark wood (cherry, mahogany, etc.) fretboard.
I thought that black metal is only allowed to play on the cheapest gear, that's the law.

I recorded my old “unblack” metal projects first demo with a 50 dollar Amazon guitar plugged into a broken Mac mini using an outdated garage band and a drum machine program called “mr drum” the vocalist did their vocals on the built computer mic.

Quite impressed with how well the guitar/amp sound. Seems like a very good "Bang for your buck" deal for anyone looking to start playing. I know if I didn't already have a full kit, I would seriously consider Donner.

I love this kind of videos of yours when you try different ways to record. Do if you want a video: Recording black metal with irig microphone in a smartphone. Irig microphones have an adaptor wich improves the sound very much. I'm gonna try it on my own but it would be interesting to do this test in a video of yours.

It is possible to sound great using cheap instruments. Sarcofago did it that way, sepultura made it that way. Early Mayhem, burzum, cannibal corpse, goatlord made it that way. If you're good in mixing and mastering it will workout.
I don't have to watch this video to know that's how the best black metal is made.
