I love and appreciate your videos- education and therefore empowering and helpful. The trick for some of us who do not have so much time is to be able to live a healthy lifestyle that is not too time consuming. But I am in re what you are offering us. Thank you so much for doing this.

@DrAlexHeyne How does chinese medicine help with skin problems like eczema and so on is it better to go to dermatology in this case?

skin is linked to the liver amd the gut. you must qork on these areas to see an improvement particularly with damp heat which shows as skin issues...eliminate dairy and sugar for at lest 6 weeks to allow healing

Will this help dry up excessive histamines that lead to tinnitus?

I've been working through some of these possibilities with an acupuncture, but no luck so far. If one starts coughing (active phlegm) right after eating, does this give a hint as to which of the five phenomena is responsible for the post nasal drip and GERD?

Dr. Heyne, hi from Germany. Is it possible becoming your patient via internet here in Germany?

At around 7:19, you said, according to the subtitles (which are not accurate): " I can give a formula let's say that is high in ginsing and Dred Ginger and an herb called attract loads and fooling Poria" -- I am wondering what you actually said for "attract loads" as that is obviously not what you said, but the AI speech recognition at TH-cam thought you said that. The rest I understood (ginseng, dried ginger, fu ling poria).

A cold is your body trying to clear out or detox your upper airway from a high concentration of airborne particles that have accumulated beyond the bodies ability to asymptomatically remove them. While, what has been labeled as a ‘cold’, can happen anytime of the year, the need for this cleaning process increases in the winter when we are in closed environments which increase the concentration of these particles that we breath in. What a ‘cold’ is not, is a bug, germ, or virus passed from person to person. In order to remove these particles, the body produces mucous in the bronchial and thin secretions in the sinus’ to trap and facilitate the removal of these particles through a runny nose, coughing, and sneezing. Breathing in these higher concentration of particles is the cause of a sore throat due to the irritation. We are exposed to a tremendous amount of these particles in a closed environment with the constant recirculation of contaminated air caused by household cleaners, candles, sprays, fragrances, pet dander, etc. The best thing we can do when our body starts this process is to support it. Increase fluids and take an expectorant like Mucinex to help thin the secretions so you can expectorant the contaminants, increase antioxidants like Vit C to grab onto these particles to help remove them through the GI tract and allow the rise of your body temperature to facilitate removal of these toxins through your skin via sweating. Decrease overall food consumption, consuming only what is dietarily necessary and allow your body to rest so that the energy required for this process is not diverted to digesting large amounts of unnecessary food or to complete mundane activities that can wait. Or you could do what we have all been taught. Medicate yourself to dry up your secretions and decrease your ability to cough up the gunk, wear a mask to decrease your fresh air/oxygen supply and increase your inhalation of your expelled CO2 and rebreathing your own exhaled contaminated air, and load yourself with Tylenol to shut down your skins ability to help with the detox process.
