Dude i've watched hundreds of these videos trying to learn, you sorted it all in just 1. and you didn't bore or annoy me to death... make more!

Fabulous video Micheal, very well explained and will certainly help me when I come to do mine. I hadn't realised that I'd need to take the springs out for the servo motors, so you taught me something there :0)
    Cheers mate, Mark.

+Western Centurion Thanks Mark, well you don't have to but it certainly improves the performance of them by a long way

Like the video and it has helped in my first time use of this point. Do you have a video of fitting the other wires? Thanks

Thanks very much. Do you mean the frog wires? If so then I don’t I’m afraid as how they are connected is down to what point motors and systems you use and not something that I can cover generally

was a helpful video, makes sense to solder up farther on the turn out

+sparky107107 Thanks, it sure does as long as you can hide the wire with ballast well enough

Hi Micheal, many other videos on wiring this turnout, had one remove small clips on the underside of the turnout.Mine didn't have that(new Peco design?).So when I watch yours, life just got simpler :-)All the best,Kevin

Thanks, Glad to hear the video was of good use. Once you get your head around 3 way points it isn't very difficult to wire up at all, it just looks quite daunting

Do you have to wire it up or can you just do it manually

I cannot remember if I am being honest, it was a long time ago. I think it needs wiring up as its an electro frog point

Great video Michael easy to understand love it but one thing missing that all these tutorials seem to leave out so how about becoming the first to at least talk preferably show the actual fitting of the points with which rail ends need insulating joiners and which ones don't Cheers

+Tim Young Thanks, I never really thought about that to be honest, if I ever make another I shall make sure to include that. It's quite easy to remember though as it's just the 2 connections at the frog that need insulating.
      Cheers, Michael

It's a shame that your hand got in the way of the camera view when removing the springs!

Can’t watch this video anymore. You have lost me after the first two minutes you take too long to get to the point. Sorry, do you want me to tell it how it is don’t you?

Perhaps get a second opinion like I intend to do…I got the gist of it,but maybe, more articulation is required
