    good job!...with the end cap, if you sprayed a little expanding foam in the bottom and laid a flat piece of pvc on the bottom and duct tape to hold it to the quiver so that the foam doesn't push it away while it sets, you can trim it off after everything is dry, you can push the arrows in and they won't bounce,bunck or rattle:)x

    will be nice that you can put some high density foam inside for supporting the brodheads and if if it is full seal you can use it for water if need it ..cheers

    Would putting a 2" PVC plug in the bottom then place it in the oven...then run the wood in the center of the pipe, flatten it and when flatting the end with the plug, have the dumb bell on top of the pipe and plug to cool together so u have bottom formed at same time...then if needed seal it with silicon?

    • @theurbanyankee
      @theurbanyankee  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      use a wooded plug its a lot easier.

    • @McCormickSpiced
      @McCormickSpiced 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      LabanKishi i understand what you mean, i havent tried it but i would assume the end cap would shape differently due to thickness and might warp away from the pipe

    For the bottom what if you just put an end cap on before you softened. It and when you go yo mold it would be perfect fit . But great video thanks

    • @theurbanyankee
      @theurbanyankee  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Kalyn Burkham Hi Kalyn I don't think it would work with a end cap, my way is cheaper & faster thank you Kalyn for your comment!

    I've got an idea make a divider inside the quiver to keep the arrows more spread out so they are easier to access

    • @theurbanyankee
      @theurbanyankee  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Tyler Ewing thank you for your comment, I plan to fill the quiver with more arrows!

    I have been planning something similar to this for a while. You gave me some inspiration for those details I hadn't quite worked out, Thanks for that!. Your strap choice looks like it might be a little uncomfortable, was it, if so how did you fix it? Just like someone else said, lets see some video of it in action. :D

    • @theurbanyankee
      @theurbanyankee  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Journey of Awesome The strap works perfect, sorry I don't have any outside footage on the quiver in action. but thank you for the comment!

      @journeyofawesome8473 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      theurbanyankee Glad to hear it is working as planned. It's great when projects come out the way you want. I am sure I am not alone in waiting to see that " in action" footage.
