ACDC and Iron Maiden are still some of my favorites from this style. They kinda invented and perfected the form.
Led Zepellin and Black Sabbath perhaps were the precursor chemical brains...

Awesome reaction legend. Greatest rock band in history. I'm Australian many like myself were raised listening to this band. The guitarist Angus Young is one of the best to ever do it. Check out another great Australian group called, The Bee Gees Stating alive. See if you recognise it. And ACDC Back in black song. Greatness!!
Led Zepellin, Black Sabbath, ACDC and several others stood upon the shoulders of giants and created heavy metal.

You need to watch the video for this song from their River Plate concert. 60,000 + people attended and it lasted 3 days. The crowd was insane!!!
