Thank you for making the video. We just purchased these cabinets for our kitchen remodel and I was a little apprehensive about how difficult they would be to install and how sturdy they would be… but you really set my mind at ease. Thank you so much.
The Home Depot website indicates that the doors are made of MDF. This morning I ordered some of these cabinets. I decided to go with the MDF doors, even though I would prefer wood doors. Because of the fact that there is a store to return them to. If need be. Years ago I painted and put up thick MDF shelves. They have held their shape. Some in the kitchen, but not near the sink. I figure if there is a good painted finish on the doors they should hold up as long as they are not sitting in water. If not I I will still have the plywood boxes and I could make new doors. I love the look of your gray fireplace and the cabinets next to it.
Thank you for sharing. You were so great! Not to fast, or slow. Great pace for me to get it. I'm looking forward to picking up a cabinet for my laundry room. I will follow you. 😊
Thank you for the video. I'm thinking of getting these cabinets. However, information on how to instal them and how to attach them to each other is lacking. Does anyone know of any installation videos or instructions specific to this type of cabinets?
There is no comparison. I put the Diamond in the laundry room a year ago and they are already having problems. The faces and doors are so soft they get nicked up by anything. Just the feel of these is way way better. Lowes will have to redo that Diamond series to compete with these and these might even be cheaper.
What’d you end up doing about the screw on the side of the cabinet? Seems like it’ll be visible on the end cabinet. Did you go with an end panel or quarter round or something?
I have heard that on some cabinets the dovetail slot is slightly tapered from one end of the slot to the other, and that the panel must slide in from one particular direction in order to keep from binding.

You are welcome! I am installing these in another kitchen as well!

Great video! I just bought 2 of these the other day. I hope my assembly goes as quick as this video. LOL
How are these holding up? Thinking about using these to redo my kitchen.

What do you think of the quality of the Hampton bay shaker compared to Lowe's diamond?
I think it’s much nicer!

These are excellent
Thinking about doing my entire kitchen with these cabinets. Only bummer is no base lazy susan. If they came out with one it'd be a winner.
I agree. They are nice enough to be used in the kitchen!
Just what I needed to know.
Ben do you think they need any wood glue?
I used it for mine
Same question, would wood glue help keep everything tight?

They have a full line of trim & fillers. You’d have to order the end panel. I have these cabinets. I like them.
Did you have any side panels that wouldn’t slide into the face panel? We are having one that is very very stuck. Thank you.

Great video!
Thank you. My box came without instructions. Happy Wife Happy Life!
What material are the shelves in the family room on top of the cabinets?
I used plywood and finished the edges nicely. Then painted white.
how did you match the color?@@Ben.Builds.
I am not able to snap the corner guards on after panels are slid in place
