Trevon Smith thank you! 😊 and congratulations on getting admitted to nursing school! I would definitely recommend trying your hardest in nursing school. What helped me A LOT was having a CNA job during nursing school. I worked one 12-hour shift each week. Having a good word from my manager, supervisor, and nurses at the end when getting the job is what helped me. But what got me the job honestly was when I had my ED rotation my last semester. I helped out on the floor! I made sure to give them a good impression. I did simple things such as making the beds and insisting on helping the nurses out. Just doing simple things like those during my rotation really got me the job honestly. It showed that I was hard working and a team player... and they want that in the ED. My professors emphasized to really take your clinicals and rotations seriously and set a good impression because it’s like your interview. If that makes sense. If you have anymore questions I would be more than happy to answer them! 😊
Nidia Duenas that definitely makes sense! I’m hoping that I get placed in the ED for my preceptorship... if not my goals is to try to get a tech position there before I graduate so I can show them why they should hire me! Lol thanks for the advice!

I recently graduated high school a year early and I’m going to college as a freshmen at 17 years old for nursing school then heading off to get a post bacc in pre med for 2 years then medical school❤️. I’ve been dreaming of this moment since I was 8 years old, grew up no mother no father, always been doubted, but here I am inspired by your videos. Hey America, I'm usually not as early to your videos as I am at the moment, but I've been here since the beginning, and I remember when you got the K-ster, and watching you study at Denny's. It's ironic because I'm a junior, still in undergrad, and a Business Major so most of this information is irrelevant to me. However, it's still extremely motivating. You make me want to go study old finance lectures or something! Just so I can be the best future business leader I can be. From your videos, I've learned a lot about the process of becoming a doctor. Hey America! I really enjoy your videos, and LOVE LOVE LOVE your shorter hair!
So I have some questions. When you study for usmle, you go through and annotate the first aid book and you make a document of what you don’t know? But for things like weekly quizzes you look through the power points from your teacher? Maybe you can make a video on how you study for the different tests/ exams/quizzes.

Lol at the osteoporosis vs osteoarthritis 😂 just incase anyone doesn't knoooow you can decrease your chances of developing osteoporosis as an older person while youre still young! Keeping a regular exercise routine (with strength training/weight bearing/resistance training) from birth through early adulthood (peak bone mass typically stops at about age 30) can increase your bone density. Its especially necessary if youre a very small-framed person 😊
Lulu E. Yes. I have osteopenia and I’m 27. I think i was diagnosed 2 years ago because of steroids for crohns. I’ve been weightlifting (and taking vit d and calcium because my vit d was down to 16 it’s now up to 29) and i want to see what my bone density is now.
