Thanks! Does the muster let you check off everyone in your stateroom? We were able to access the muster on our phones but I couldn't check off my daughter, only myself, which meant we had to do it in the room for her.
Yes! I'm going to do an updated version soon (we are cruising next week) but they are still applicable. I like to be on the ship ASAP. Boarding usually starts around noon but I'd rather wait in the waiting room than in my hotel room so I try to arrive around 10 am.
Hi ❤ it's deb from Tasmania Australia :) ive just subscribed to your channel ❤ we have just booked our first Princess cruise I was wondering if the international Cafe is 24 hours? And if you can get barista made/speciality coffees 24/7?? That would have me in my element if that was possible ❤
Thanks for subscribing 🥰 Yes, the international Cafe is 24 hours! They do make specialty coffees there and I believe that part is also 24 hours. What ship will you be on? What itinerary?
yay now that makes very happy :) were cruising on a 2 night cruise from sydney australia to brisbane australia on the crown princess :in may 2026) ive purchased the princess premier package :) excited for that as we never have had the money to book a drink package, bar 2 cruises with P&O aus we bought the refreshment package :) wish the cruise was a few days longer, but extremely excited :) @@travelingbeyondboundaries
Yes, I have a few plus I'm going to be posting more very soon (including a ship tour)! Let me find links and then I'll add them here... Here's why I love the ship - th-cam.com/video/CwJetFaR5Dw/w-d-xo.html These are my vlogs from that ship - th-cam.com/video/aS9sf-ZzP5I/w-d-xo.html
GREAT VIDEO...... 2 questions come to mind after watching this 1.) how did you know where your Mustar Station was when enetering the boat? Secondly we have the Penthouse Suite on the Majectic so we are supposed to have special boarding how does that work?
Thanks for watching! The app will show you where to go once on board. It can even direct you to it! Crew are happy to help as well. We've cruised enough with Princess that we tend to know where to go but the app is amazing for giving directions to places. For priority boarding, they will direct you once on board. It most likely is with the Platinum and Elite boarding group so look out for those signs. There should be signage saying Suite Guests. Have a great time on your cruise!
@@travelingbeyondboundaries may I ask another question? We are a group of 20..... We all have the preimer plus, I heard something about pre-buying bottled water to have in your room being a primer plus do we get as much bottled water as we want?
It should be in the checklist but honestly they never ask to see ours, just our passports. We had the old app so I'm not sure if it's the same for the new app. The checklist will show what lane to go in and they can help you from there.
I usually try to arrive 30-60 minutes before then. Often you can get through security and check in before then. You then just wait in the lounge (which can be very busy) but it's so worth it to get on the ship as soon as they start letting people on.
Boarding usually starts around noon but I prefer to arrive around 9-10 am because then I can get through security and everything and then just wait in the lounge. Worse case I've had to wait outside for an hour but I'd much rather be waiting at the port than at my hotel. Our next couple cruises we are using the cruise line transfers so we don't really have a choice at what time we arrive.
We have an 8-month-old and we're kind of left in limbo about what's happening with his medallion. We were told to go to the green lane and then someone would find us and give him a medallion? Any insight?
Did you order his medallion to your home? I've started ordering my daughter's to my home. Honestly, if I were you and didn't have his shipped to home I would do the blue lane. It won't be that much longer and you don't risk having to go back into it anyway. They should have it at the port with the others being picked up there.
@@travelingbeyondboundaries Thanks for replying. It wouldn't let us order with ours, hit a invisible barrier on the app. I read a small blurb that they won't give a medallion to a child under a year old based on a choking hazard, but I don't see that anywhere else and haven't been told that. Find out in 9 days I guess.
Oh that's so strange, I've never heard of that but I guess it makes sense. He'll need one though to get scanned on and off the ship so I'm not sure what they will do. My daughter is over one so we never had that. Enjoy your cruise! They will let you know at the port. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I love Princess and I never get tired of talking about it 😂
I quickly did some research and it seems like it's for children under 2, maybe even 3. What you will get instead is a regular cruise card for him. The biggest issue seems that because it won't register him as in the room you might have issues with the muster video in the stateroom and might need to watch on the app. Edit to add - they should have it in the blue lane for you.
Why? I will never get off the ship without it. If you miss the ship, you get injured, etc. you need your passport. I always have mine in a secure wearable money pouch.
When on tours you can have a copy, of course won't be accepted on flights. As a matter of fact when renewing passport they give you an option of having a c.c. size document. I always keep the original in a safe box at a hotel or on my cabin.
@mabelvickers116 my point is that I always have mine in case of emergency where we miss the ship. We can then fly home with it instead of trying to get a new one. I'm from Canada so things might be different for Americans.

So helpful, thank you so much. You have made things clearer about what to do on embarkation as we are new Aussie cruisers 🤗🙏
So glad it was helpful! If you have any questions, please let me know 😊
Really nice and fair comment regarding the crew. It is not nice to treat the crew rudely. Be nice and patient.
Good job! Thanks for the information!
Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for sharing this video. It was very informative and helpful! I'm making a mental note. ❤

Team light..I'm all about efficiency, Voice from the future, now princess has muster on your phone available.
Thanks! Does the muster let you check off everyone in your stateroom? We were able to access the muster on our phones but I couldn't check off my daughter, only myself, which meant we had to do it in the room for her.
I NEVER have gone to a sail away party. Maybe this will be the first one for me. I don't know.
I used to never go because I'm not a "party" person but now I find them so much fun! I also love the other themed parties like 70's and Klondike!
Are all of these tips still current for 2025? What time do you recommend arriving? (Alaska cruise)

@travelwithdebandnick 2 days is way too short lol but the crown is my favourite ship so far so I hope you enjoy it too.
do you have any videos done on this ship that i could watch??@@travelingbeyondboundaries

You don't need to buy bottled water, it's included in your package.
@@travelingbeyondboundaries Thanks wasn't sure if we were limited as part of our 15 daily drinks... Keep putting out the great videos
Nope, the 15 day limit is only for alcohol. All other drinks are unlimited.

It should be in the checklist but honestly they never ask to see ours, just our passports. We had the old app so I'm not sure if it's the same for the new app. The checklist will show what lane to go in and they can help you from there.

@@travelingbeyondboundaries Perfect, thanks so much!
Team light since rooms aren’t ready early.
Have you ever seen people that are carrying around cases of soda or water?!?! I could never lug that around all boarding day!
