Rick is far too dangerous and intelligent, he'd most likely manipulate Homelanders weakened mental state and need to be loved.
That and Rick would have a counter for basically anything Homelander would pull.
Ricks gadgets as seen with his fight with that one god, his fight against the president, the episode's displaying his multiple cybernetics, and project Phoenix infinitely restoring him across universe's, even after his own project Phoenix was destroyed, make Rick way too powerful against most opponents.
Whilst the writer's of Rick and Morty don't use all of Ricks advantages for every encounter (otherwise the show would get boring with Rick always winning)
If it was a one on one with both characters using their arsenal of abilities to their fullest, Rick would win.

I thought that Boyd only imagined everything as he put on the cream, as per the scientists‘ request: “Imagine all you could be”. He has a hallucination of everything that we think happens in the episode, before he dies from an obvious overdose, via exploding head.
Yah that’s what I was thinking too. Especially because of the conversation the doctors have at the end implying that it was the first and only time they had tested the cream
Yeah and considering the cynicism of The Boys in general, I think it's way more believable to think that everything was just his imagine before his head exploded which means he never even got the chance to be his perfect self to begin with

It's honestly pretty clear your explanation is how it went. Especially since the start of the episode shows her looks were a filter so that was already in his mind to imagine. Idk what WatchMojo were doing when that episode was playing.
I definitely thought homelanders first mission was the most shocking I had no idea he started off good and black noir is the one that showed him how to cover things up making him think he can do whatever the hell he wants as long as the public doesn't see
i mean in the comics he was good until he was tricked into thinking he was messed up

Episode 3 was my favorite, I just love the art style that was the same as Invincible. Also, I loved the fact that they use the original design of The Boys l, including the heroes

The Great Wide Wonder episode truly felt like something we would absolutely see in the comics. Loved the animation in that episode
It was so weird when he flew through that metal dudes abdomen breaking every bone in his body and then exploding against the wall

@@BenHopkins1000 wasn’t pulled from the comics , it was written by Garth ennis original for the show. So yes it’s more in tune to the comics but not ripped from them
I loved the Homelander first appearance episode. Really sold that Homelander is a still a child looking for approval and is afraid of people not loving him. He actually wanted to be a hero but he's in a antihero world.

The fact that some of the episodes are anime style whilst one of them is created by the Rick & Morty team and has the voice actor of Inside Job’s Rand Ridley makes it even cooler.
While most of the segments were meant to have dark humor or simply be dark or disgusting, I could have used some more episodes similar to Sun Yee. I do think it would be interesting if Amazon did a survey on the ending of Boyd, to see if audiences preferred the hopeful alternative ending or the cynical real one

It's a breath of fresh air. This series is built upon dark and gritty, gory endings, and don't get me wrong, those aren't bad either.
But it ends up making the entire world seem like it's 100% complete utter shit, everybody is an asshole and it just looks like there is zero hope all the time.
The episode with the Rick and Morty animation makes me want a cross over ep so bad.

same, everything that happened after he first tried the cream was all in his head and the real result was its ruined his face and killed him
Kind of reminds me of the playtest episode in Black Mirror season 3
I thought so too but seeing the last scene of the episode when the doctor asks the nurse 'how much' cream she gave him suggests the usage of more cream then the small vile on his first visit

The sh-- bender sky was the most disgusting and cringe worthy episode I've ever encountered. I was dying when the deep said "fu-- this noise I'm out" 🤣

The fact they went through all these different animation styles... well, simply put, I just admire the diversity in this.
Episode 8 is canon, it's a prequel for Homelander when he just joined the seven.

The comic accurate one that deserves a whole series, and the Homelander origins episode which is canon to the live-action show

Way better series than I expected. I was really hoping Star Wars visions to live up to the hype but diabolical just did it better

I thought boyd's episode was entirely in his head, he applies the cream, dreams as his head wrinkles then explodes as a side effect

Sun hee's story broke me and healed me at the same time. This episode was so heartfelt and seemed so out of character to the random, gory insanity of the boys universe. I loved it so much
Yep, what doesn't help is that Sun Hee's story is canon to the TV series (with one plus one equals 2, the last episode, also canon as well as Nubia vs Nubian...) insane
I still say finding out great wide wonder's fix was #1 to me. Episode three looked straight from the comics and I love that just really shocked they showed him doing it.
Oddly enough, the fight between homelander and black noir here was way better than the one in the comics

The most impressive part of this list was finding enough scenes that they could actually show on the channel
Number one is a perfect example of why aquafina shouldn’t be allowed to create anything ever for the rest of existence

The Boys Diabolical is epic, fun and very diabolical my favorite chapters are:
Chapter 1 (baby with laser beam, some parts made me laugh and the animation is cool)
Chapter 3 "I'm your Trafficker" (they make a great tribute to the animation of the comic) was also written by Garth Ennis the creator of the comic The Boys
Chapter 6 Nubia vs Nubio (it is a great reflection of how we live in Real life of how happy our parents are, then they argue too many times and divorce)
Chapter 8 the origin of Homelander (I really loved the origin of Homelander, since it asks me how it was? did shed a tear for the Homelander story)
[The rest of the chapters I liked but I didn't really like the anime chapter with deep and that girl with powers 🤮]
I give it a 10/10 and now I am super anxious to see the third season that premieres on June 3, 2022

Can I be honest on something here? That “ BFFS “ Episode REALLY sickened me big time! Figuratively and Literally. But that Laser Baby episode? A brutal and hilariously funny cartoon classic, if you ask me! And pretty much the best episode of the series yet, in my humble opinion!

The two I liked was Homelander's first mission and The white wonder one. It's the closest comic-accurate episodes. From all the characters to how they mimic current hero animations to.
I loved every episode except Awkwfina’s. Feels like it was more childish than hilarious.
the voice she used when she said rise up my turd friends was sooooo cringe. she probably thought she was writing comic gold when she came up with that. terrible in comparison to the comedic justin roiland episode
Her voice didn’t fit it really well and the premise while interesting didn’t interest me as much as the others, I loved the pissed off supes kill their parents one because when you watch the episode of they live action some may wonder what happened to some of the kids.

Laser Baby is a bizarre fusion of an Animaniacs feature and... the Laser Baby from the show. Billy's used a V-baby as a laser weapon in the first season.
