I am German and i never saw 250ccm CBR in my life. 250ccm engines are not very common were I am from. You start on 125ccm and the next step is a restricted 600ccm. Nowadays we have 500ccm bikes like the CBR 500 which fits into 48hp limitation for drivers under 23. I was once on the Autobahn with my 125ccm Aprilia RS and was constantly overtaken by family vans and it had the same power to wight ratio as your bike. In Germany you need a 600ccm bike for driving at the left lane. But i have to admit your bike looks beautiful!

In Germany you are only allowed to drive a 125cc bike if you are only 16 years old. If you are 18 you can get a cc unrestricted license and two years later a power unrestricted. So if you want to drive a bike with 16 you have to get one of these. Maybe that's why. I drive a BMW S 1000 RR so I do not really know why bro.

William Ng Huge misconception about motorcycles. That motor has been redlined and tested hard before it even gets through quality control, which Honda is definitely a stickler for. Jake The Garden Snake has a great video explaining what the break in period is for and the best way to get the rings "seated" properly preventing "blow by". You have a short time to get the cylinder rings seated in properly and you need to ride it hard to accomplish that. I know some bikes come with a limiter during the break in period, but if you do your research you'll see that those are the bikes that have blow by and sacrifice horsepower and efficiency the most. Ride it like you stole it!! 👍
break in periods are pretty much a thing of the past. these things are now machined to such small tolerances that there not much break in to be done. Just like letting a car built in the last 10 years warm up by idling is causing more harm, once your rpm drop to idle its time to go. Plus Honda rips each bike through the gears to redline before they box them up. that is fresh off the line to being cranked and redlined. there is a video taken from a honda factory showing them doing this years ago. im still on the fence of this hard vs soft break in. No one has shown the same bike being done both ways and measuring the tolerances and blow by that everyone says happens. If someone does have a video or data proving it id like to see it.

I believe Honda might launch CBR 300 which already there in other countries for a while now.

So Yamaha spent a year to sell 1000 R3s when this 250RR found nearly 3000 customers a month before the keys were handed to its first customer. The bike belongs to my friend. Yes you can find an 01 to 07 R1 for roughly in between 70 to 100 million rupiah. But like I said, I don't think its a smart idea, you are better and much safer with a 250cc bike. Drivers in Bali are too unpredictable.

Finally an English video!! This is going to launch in Taiwan, but not by Honda directly. Unfortunately, with bloody tax that our government charges this bike is way above prize. And the idiots(the dealer)want's to make a whole lot of profit from it. What can I say, those morons are ruining the fun in Taiwan. What's more our own native bike manufacturers are making shit and some fine scooters, but who the hell is interested in scooters!! What's more insane is they even cost more in our own country than in the countries they import to. That bike is expensive in indonesian is because PPnBM(Pajak Penjualan Barang Mewah) its range from 10% to 120% basically every cars and motorcycle that have 250cc and above are classified as a luxury item,that why the price difference between 200 and 250 cc is extremely ridiculous
Nice review man ! that road from Klungkung to Denpasar is one of the only road in Bali where you can speed a little, but it is also a really dangerous one as you never know what will cross it lol, a R1 is way too much for Bali, I've been touring with guys from Super Race Bali last month and we had 2 R1 joining, those bikes were way to fast and way too uncomfortable for Bali roads, a 250 is way enough, as you know we can't really use top speed here in Indonesia. i'm using a CBR 250 R from 2011, and I didn't try the new one yet, I will try to catch one this week end to see the difference. I don't know about mortality of bikes in Asia, or more exactly India and the neighbouring countries, but I know their CHAOS TRAFFIC is SAFER then our Western "civilized" one! they can pass WITHOUT a single crash or SCRATCH a total mess crossing, there are no lights, no lines, no top asphalt roads, and yet the traffic is FLUENT. IMHO we all should LEARN from them. (but, by no means I want to say with that, he is riding safe, not at all :D but that's just how it is outside of the borders of EU and USA)

Looks like the engine was stretching itself around 140-150kph. I'd like to see one reach the claimed "180kph" without downhill and tail wind lol. But def. a lot quicker than most other current 250/300cc bikes

The bike belongs to my friend. Yes you can find an 01 to 07 R1 for roughly in between 70 to 100 million rupiah. But like I said, I don't think its a smart idea, you are better and much safer with a 250cc bike. Drivers in Bali are too unpredictable.

I've read few discussions as well while looking for news about launching in Malaysia but so far as for India, they said Honda don't plan to bring this model into India. As for Malaysia, it's already in planning tho
Finally an English video!! This is going to launch in Taiwan, but not by Honda directly. Unfortunately, with bloody tax that our government charges this bike is way above prize. And the idiots(the dealer)want's to make a whole lot of profit from it. What can I say, those morons are ruining the fun in Taiwan. What's more our own native bike manufacturers are making shit and some fine scooters, but who the hell is interested in scooters!! What's more insane is they even cost more in our own country than in the countries they import to. What can I say~
For the record, it does seam like a great bike, I hope some will pay the prize in Taiwan.

Even in here the price is still high because of the tax. The reason is because bike above 200cc count as luxury item and for higher cc in car also.

That bike is expensive in indonesian is because PPnBM(Pajak Penjualan Barang Mewah) its range from 10% to 120% basically every cars and motorcycle that have 250cc and above are classified as a luxury item,that why the price difference between 200 and 250 cc is extremely ridiculous

Nice review man ! that road from Klungkung to Denpasar is one of the only road in Bali where you can speed a little, but it is also a really dangerous one as you never know what will cross it lol, a R1 is way too much for Bali, I've been touring with guys from Super Race Bali last month and we had 2 R1 joining, those bikes were way to fast and way too uncomfortable for Bali roads, a 250 is way enough, as you know we can't really use top speed here in Indonesia.
i'm using a CBR 250 R from 2011, and I didn't try the new one yet, I will try to catch one this week end to see the difference.

Looks like the engine was stretching itself around 140-150kph. I'd like to see one reach the claimed "180kph" without downhill and tail wind lol. But def. a lot quicker than most other current 250/300cc bikes
