They have gone so far now, who would believe in 93 that they would be scoring movies years later and playing concerts with an orchestra. I was a metalhead in 96 and used to listen most norwegian bands but today probably it is them and Ihsahn that I only listen to and every new Ulver album surprises me.

back when they had illusions about being a folk/black-metal band:-) i am sooooo glad they abandoned those silly thoughts;-) today they are the ephitome of avantgarde norwegian music. its a shame that they arent more respected amongst their peers, but its also a blessing because we who know, can keep it all to ourselves;-)
