Ulver went from the purest form of black metal to the purest form of ambiental bullshit. Some ppl cant take it lightly. And its kinda retarded. Listen to the era of the band you prefer and thats it. Ulver has amazing bm albums,influeced by classical and folk music.
I love this demo. So raw yet reaching toward a sophistication just out of the band's reach. The early full lengths are great too, but this is my favourite. It's so ambitious but still nice and rough around the edges which is what I like about a lot of the BM I listen to. I can see why people draw parallels to VBE, and I would put forward a similarity with In the Woods...'s "HEart of the Ages". Very complimentary records in a way.

i'm almost positive it wasn't even mastered on the original release. extreme metal bands didn't know what mastering was in the early days and simply didn't do it. i'm not being mean and dismissive i'm just being honest.

Este demo es interesante por ser parte de la historia de Ulver, pero afortunadamente evolucionaron a un plano musical mil veces mejor que este. Lo único rescatable son las partes acústicas y la voz clara de Rygg , lo demás en lo personal no es de mis agrado.
