Great Video...CO2 to enter the Galley ? water will be better since power is already out...why not attack the fire immediately and rescue at the same time? also no hood wear by the fire team...in cargo ship this is a common occurrence..in cruise hips the hood is mandatory. and PSC plays is checking on it...but in cargo no hood? might be merchant seams have ticker skin?
The response to the fire alarm then the power went out like my fire alarms are going off right now cuz we have an oil fire on a cargo train in the tank car at the station so everybody may not go to the station power is already out we cannot have the railroad crossings go off at this time due to fire I announced everybody all power trains must be shut off at this moment while the fire team comes fire alarms are going off in here we have a system sensor Specter alert advance strobe going off at this moment all of the fire alarms will just be flashing no horns at this moment
That's all the complete set of tha Fireman outfit was done. There was only two fire fighter, if they did fire attack and rescue same time then it will be difficult to carry the victim alone and takes time. Victim will be dead already due to suffocation🙏

your galley already in fire, now if we let it continue and go to muster station all together, in this time the fire will spread more!
It is a standard procedure and every crew personnel must gather at the muster station bringing necessary items as mentioned in muster lists. All crew should be present at the muster station so that their duties could be told to them by a duty officer. Then they will act according to their duties.
In a real situation, the first person that in the vicinity of fire should extinguish the fire by the most appropirate means of extinguishing agent in the area. If extinguishing the fire is not possible by the person's himself, then alarm shall be sounded and the same procedures as in the fire drill to be carried out.

Why did nobody bring their lifejackets and other life saving appliances to the muster station? Abandoning ship may be required in case of a spreading of fire. And in SOLAS CH 3, subsequent actions required for abandoning ship after a fire drill was mentioned.
The life jacket not in each cabin but inside the box near the free fall lifeboat. Incase abandon ship then everybody just take it before entering the lifeboat🙏

Thats right, but we have to make sure first there is no victim, if there is then rescuing is priority before extinguish the fire. But all depen on real situation. Thanks for watching🙏
