It needs more cylinders for more emotions and premium feel. But in the past who have thought a VW can be so playful and fun? Seems to be a good chassis. 👌🏻

@@karlwalther0076 I know in germany there is even a stage 3 with 526 PS but my friend got a rs3 the sound is really game changing I live in Berlin and the car is a bit to big for a city On the other hand the looks of the arteon r in black are mostly unmatched for me I dont know really to keep it or not

My mom was the first person in the eastern time zone to own an arteon, and it was the nicest car iv ever been in. She traded it for a bmw 530e with the m package, and i still stand by my point.
Personally l think the Arteon is an underrated good looking car and interior spec (even still look like a premium Passat l still take it) but the engine spec is sadly disappointing no 3.0 TDI or V6 tfsi/VR6 available they could’ve get so many clients but Yh kinda peak… still hopefully l’ll get mine in the future

False. We get a 300HP/295TQ 7-Speed DSG same exact MK8 Golf R engine as the Arteon R. In fact, the 2022-2023 US spec Arteons are essentially Arteon R lites (20HP less). In Europe you simply can not get an Arteon with more than 218HP (eHybrid is highest rated) unless you go all the way to an Arteon R (320HP). Unfortunately Americans are sooo dense that they fail to understand the amazing car VW let us have here for 2 model Years.
Good looking car, but in the end it's just a Passat. VW should have gone for the opportunity to build the Arteon on the "new" A4/A6 platform (MLB evo).

VW has gotten so boring, every R has the same brakes, same engine, even the same wheels as the Golf R. The Tiguan even looks the same. What happened to the days of the R32, R36, R50, W8. Just a bunch of cookie cutter cars now.

It's nice, but I think the Arteon R should have the 2.5 turbo 5-cylinder engine. I love the sound of that engine.
vw just refuses to use it (maybe audi refuse to releasae it, but they did for seat so idk man)
@@4w0ken Audi refuse to release it, they gave Cupra only 7,500 Engines for the Cupra Formentor VZ5. You cannot order the VZ5 anymore sadly.

Only in Race, in Individual you can also set the engine sound to Pure, then it doesn't pump any sound inside
The Video is filmed in Race Mode, with the artificial Sound. I normally turn it off, the Pops stay, the outside Sound is the Same

Your options now are Golf R, slower lifted Golf R, or slower longer Golf R. Or just get a base model that looks the same with “R-Line”
