❤ auction days. There are so many interesting and beautiful things to look at.
Tell James...that is not a trumpet. It is a Coronet, which is in between trumpt and Fluglehorn.
The pearl inlay is on the top(keys) of the valves. It lookes like it was well used and loved...good find!
Lexi’s box is probably a purse. In the mid ‘70s you could buy the bare wood blanks with lid and hardware. We paper mached or painted the purses and then put several coats of varnish on it. I had a smaller one that I painted Navy blue with strawberries. Thaw larger one I made I cut out pictures from mazgazines and glued them to the purse. It still has the shine on it from the finish. It took me close to a month to make it because it had coat after coat of varnish on it and was sanded down by hand after each coat. Love your Channel. You guys make me laugh and I love it. Thanks for listening.
The horse is a gift from Paul Sébastien.
Lexi's box was originally a tea caddy. When it was made it would have had two boxes inside, for two different types of tea. They've been lost over time and some fur fabric added decades later. Looks like mid-1920s. Very nice item!!😊
Those suitcase looking boxes are also great to give gifts in. I buy boxes like that from Dollar General store and give gifts in.
You should check to make sure some of those pieces aren’t lids for others.
Believe it or not the box with the metal handle is a purse. Fr the 60s/70s. Probably a craft project. Decopouge and sealed. They were the thing back in the day
wow the whole set is pinwheel crystal
Beautiful cut crystal. I like seeing Dad's auction finds.
❤❤❤❤ wow you guys have hit a jackpot that is a whole collection of clear glass awesome a collector it's going to snatch that up if it's a whole collection and I think it is please do not break up that collection clear glass I love it❤❤❤❤
Hello Heather and Paul. Let's see what Paul's dad brought in from the auction. Everything looks awesome. Everything that James and Lexi has brought in from the auction is awesome.
Hi Paul and Heather my dad loved John Wayne as well he was a good actor
The collection of crystal M. I am really thinking that's American cut glass. It's really old and well cared for. I will be interested to see what others think the pieces are. The cream and sugar are going to be crystal
Greetings from Lake George NY
Lots of patterns are more than twice that now.
I want that old wooden purse.😢😢
Pinking sheers Heather
Cut glass bowls and relish dishes
The egg dish. Real milk glass with24 k gold rim fr the 50/60s
I had a purse like Lexi’s box.
box is purse, scene is from 1920's
Just what I thought when I saw it.
It's a tea caddy. My great-aunt had one very similar given her as a wedding present in 1928. It should have twin boxes inside, but they've obviously been lost over time.
The John Wayne doll on West is worth 219.99 $
Im not a chrystal or anything beautiful and delicate collector...just gets broken....but wow, beautiful chrystal.
the plates or pinwheel crystal
I could e a stacking binto box
I hope everything is set up now. I have double pneumonia and I just can't think right now. Thank You for Your help.
Check the glass items to see if they are cut or pressed glass..A lot look like they could be cut and worth more.
The print on the little pot and lid is Japanese according to google lens/translate. Seems to be some oddly placed Maker, and location. I saw the word tea in there somewhere at the bottom.
They are called celery dishes.
I went to buy a pattern it was $20.00
i wish you were not so far away i am in the uk and it cost too much to ship
I really love these videos, the stuff your dad buys is amazing, I wish I could go shopping with him.
