Great idea. I was also thinking as a panel where there are multiple pictures in the panel to fussy cut them. ABC’s panel, 🦖 panels, mainly kids fabric panels.❤😊
Thank you for your free patterns. I just finished a quilt today for our Guild’s donation to Hospice for children. Used all hearts fabrics. 💕💙💕. I also have your Christmas book and love it!
On the Tropical Punch quilt I think I’d put #3 fabric in the #1 spot to highlight the #3 fabric which is beautiful and more unusual. As always, your quilt pattern and quilts are beautiful.
I love the photo quilt. I was also thinking about Kids panels that you could cut as the main fabric, ABC’s with the animal ‘s, dinosaurs panels, trucks. And so on.. thank you for the free pattern..
Looks great as usual. Appreciate the free patterns you offer. I think this one would be perfect for a layer cake. and coordinating fabrics. (As would any of your patterns with a large block.) I would love to see you do a show explaining how to use a layer cake with your patterns. Good job!
Hi Kelly! Welcome to the community 🥰 I'm so glad you find it helpful. We try to make the process as easy as possible and inspire everyone to make beautiful quilts 🥰
Thank you for the Free Pattern-Pretty Please. I have two of your books and very excited to make a quilt although it's been a few long years since I have made one. LOL!! Wish me luck. However, I really enjoy the tutorials and gorgeous quilt color combinations.
Hello Donna and Fran, Thank You for showing how to make the pretty please pattern. Even though I can't print it out right now my printer is down. I was able to see the pattern and a construction of it. But I'm going to save this video as a reminder for later. And then purchase the pattern off of your site. Thanks again.
This is a perfect pattern for a large print fabric with octopuses that I was trying to make into a quilt for a friend who loves sea creatures. Thanks for a great pattern.
Wow I have this pattern!!! But since you showcased it with different fabric, I feel confident enough to use it! And, blue and yellow combination is one of my favorites! Thanks you are the best?
I downloaded the pattern and have cut it out. What a breeze. This is my first Fabric Cafe pattern. I do a lot of Charity quilts and this pattern is perfect, it would be great for themes like Halloween, Christmas, animals, and my mind is racing. Thank you so much. I will say however I seem to be having difficulty trying to get website to open, tried iPhone and iPad. ❤
Hi Sherri! We don't have an exact tutorial for this pattern, however we made another quilt that has corner blocks so this video may be helpful - th-cam.com/video/XUkwNc_WB-g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Dr6E8-0yzIF-T118&t=803
You can, yes. What we suggest is deciding what size quilt you would like to make, and then making more rows/columns to achieve that size. Once you know how many more blocks you will need to make those extra rows/columns, then you can determine how much extra fabric you will need. But typically its 6 yards of fabric for a twin sized quilt. Hope that helps!
@@FabricCafe well I find it difficult to figure that out. When you buy the book it has that already done for you and I think it should when you buy it separately as well or the free pattern.
I began cutting my fabric today for the Pretty Please quilt. Unless I am extremely stupid, which I am not, this patter was extremely confusing. Anyone else agree? I have never done a Fabric Cafe pattern before, and this may be my last. Sorry!
This one would be good as a photo/ memory quilt

Do you have any Halloween or fall 3 yd kits yet
Thanks for another free pattern ❤❤
Thanks Ladies
Thank you!! Love and hugs, Deb x 🤗
Thank you! I will make x3 of each 1 yard for a king size. I hope I’m right!
We suggest 'four' 3-yard kits for a queen/king size. So that is 12 yards of fabric.
Wow I have this pattern!!! But since you showcased it with different fabric, I feel confident enough to use it! And, blue and yellow combination is one of my favorites! Thanks you are the best?

Oh no! Hope it loaded for you. We did have some site issues a few days ago.
No worries, got it and ready to sew up. Thank you
Do you have a video demonstrating how you do your blinding? I need to machine bind since I don’t hand sew.
We do have videos on bindings, but it is utilizing hand binding and not machine binding.
Did you match your shirts do the quilts in front of you on purpose or is that an accident
Donna’s goes with the first one so well!
@@detreesoh yes! I saw they coordinated with the first quilts right away.
Happy accidents! 🥰🤣
Do you have a video tutorial on how to do cornerstones? I have the pretty please pattern and I can't get the job done correctly.
Hi Sherri! We don't have an exact tutorial for this pattern, however we made another quilt that has corner blocks so this video may be helpful - th-cam.com/video/XUkwNc_WB-g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Dr6E8-0yzIF-T118&t=803
How do I send you pictures of the quilts I have made?
Donna tells us at the end of the video.
So if I want to make a twin do I just double everything?
You can, yes. What we suggest is deciding what size quilt you would like to make, and then making more rows/columns to achieve that size. Once you know how many more blocks you will need to make those extra rows/columns, then you can determine how much extra fabric you will need.
