Hey Lemora, the Cloudshift is 100% bc it can combo with a gilded draked dockside or such, but also Cloudshift + Kitten + EWit + Dockside goes infinite in a way that is actually disrupted by retrace since ephemerate will not hit the yard for Ewit
@@LemorasCards Oh sure, all the pieces make sense in sans-black. I've been playing a similar Rog/Thras list to yours/sam's/rebell's, have you gotten a chance to try out Three Visits/Naure's Lore?
😂 Yeah I don't use TappedOut, but I do really prefer Archidekt over Moxfield these days. Archidekt is easier to work with and customize categories. Moxfield shows the card we mouse over on the left of the screen, and Archidekt makes the card bigger under your cursor so you don't have to move your eyes away from the cursor when quickly scanning decks.
Im from the bay! So odd that one of the most chaotic and liberal cities is so against proxies lol didnt get to play here, but maybe next time. At this point, I’ll always have a cedh set of dargo/thrassios (my fave combo), plus a rogue brew of kinnan, and tivet
@@LemorasCards that would be awesome - I recently put the deck together and have been having a blast with it, but I’d love to see a deck tech where I could really learn some of the subtle/less obvious play lines (I’m on the version with earth craft)
Non-proxy is so remarkably stupid. Is this CEDH, the format to find the most competitive games, or a pay to play format? More games and more players is how we grow. The entitlement of non-proxy tournaments is obscene. Can you win or not? Or are you just afraid of more competition?
I'm also a major proponent of proxy events, but this is an event happening at a CommandFest. It's very hard to expect anything WotC gets near to allow proxies.
34:15 Most of the time it probably doesn't matter, but we don't even need to cast three instant or sorcery spells. Only the one we want to copy (infinitely) needs to be of those types. The first two could even be mana rocks ... or Stella herself.
The reason kenrith sometimes plays clouds cloudshift or ephem is because of kitten loops w/ e wit and dockside. It's also slightly relevant that it goes straight to grave when ur trying to breach
I considered Technomancer in initial builds, but in my testing it I didn’t find a use case for it. Lmk if you come across play patterns or lines that work for you! I played Saw in Half when I had Hoarding Broodlord. Nice line to have in the deck, but Razaketh proved more efficient/ involved less “dead” cards.
So is technomancer + cursed mirror + dargo. you clone the technomancer, then you cast dargo saccing the OG technomancer. Reanimate the OG techno using the clone’s activated ability, sac dargo to its ETB, repeat. the loop uses 6 treasures and generates 7 treasures each time
for stella lee. aside from twisted fealty. how does it win? drawing your library isn't a definitive win with this list. or did i miss something? like brain freezing your opponents? kind of needs a lab man or thassa's oracle to secure right? because if i exile twisted fealty the deck loses? breaching a lightning bolt? idk i feel as if my list is different but if i can afford to cut 'win more' cards i would definitely fill the spots. pro tip anyone?
Draw whole deck then make infinite mana with either dramatic reversal or hidden strings, then you can underworld breach brain freeze everyone to death Or you can just thassas oracle. It’s all up to preference. The main “core” of Stella are the cerulean wisps/refocus/twitch effects then you can do your own personal favorite izzet wincon from there
@@bugs5567 yeah this list doesn't run thassa. I have been running stella lately and twisted has been the definitive. brainfreeze isn't a great one because if you breach everything to your graveyard stuff like endurance forces a loss and shuffle titans exist. wish i would have seen these games to see if everyone scooped for win or if he played it out. she is still a bit goofy to win with.
Funny that usual places that run non-proxy environments are the places I’d least likely attend as well lol. I avoid the east coast and west coast like the plague lol
Finally a top 16 video im in that I didn’t pay for 💀
You love to see it!
The doot man doots again!
Is Stella Lee going to be a big deck going forward? Which of these lists was your favorite? Let me know down below!
She's a glass cannon that can definitely sneak on wins
Hi TH-cam! I’m one of the co-authors for the Dargo/Reyhan list.
Thanks for featuring the deck Lemora! I hope more people try it 😊
It looks awesome!
Thanks for covering this event! I was the Azusa pilot, and I was stoked to top 16 with that deck. It was a great time
Great job! Awesome stuff!

Oh the ewit thing is pretty interesting, I've had that kind of thing come up in Bruse/Thras builds so that makes sense.

AZUSA MENTIONED
Show a bit of respect for tapped out, they are one of the original and longest deck database for mtg.
just be glad that tappedout list wasn't archidekt crap
Fuck that shit bro, 50 different pop up ads

Think it's just a Commandfest thing, all the events at those are always nonproxy.
Yeah TappedOut is bad. But maybe homie is an OG cEDH player, tappedout was one of the go to's before moxfield existed.
Why is it bad?
Cecily Sophina rep lfg Doot!
Did it for u bb
Reyhan Dargo? Nice and spicy, as a mardu dargonaut I approve.
Cloudshift returns to your control not owners so you can keep draked cards while dodging bounce/kitten
A new sherriff??? My boy Gaddock Teeg made it???? Nope lol. ❤❤❤
Stella Lee is top 10 decks in the format easy. Might even rival Kinnan
How TF do people afford non-proxy decks? Daaaaaaaaaamn.
Poor financial decisions.
@@LemorasCards No seriously that Kraum/Tymna deck, even updating to the cheapest, is $8032.40.
Any plans to do a deck tech on Rog/Thrasios?
I've been asked about it enough that I probably have to haha, might try to get one out next week.

For kenrith, cloudshift goes to graveyard after you cast it, ephemerate doesn't. It's part of the kitten/eternal witness line!
I love how good the Stella pre con is for casual and love how I can run her in cedh
Stella is a deck I really like, I need to give it a run.
Kinda shocked to see that reyhan dargo list doesn’t run saw in half or ruthless technomancer

Assuming you don’t live on either coast, how often are you near those places that you actively have to “avoid them like the plague”
No wheels in that rog thras deck is UNFATHOMABLY BASED.
All wheels are bad.
I've liked being on Timetwister, but it's definitely not mandatory.
Tbh proxies shouldn’t be legal in any tournament setting I’m glad to hear there were none
Lee wildcard is a worse Niv-Mizzet Parun with a better casting cost. Runs so many dead cards lol
Stella is a real deck that is pretty explosive. Deck actually gets to do something in early turns and can pull a win very quick.
Only if cantrips are dead, which they specifically aren't with Stella out. Everything else is a good card.
