This was a very informative video on the order of stroking a engine and problems you come across. Not many people put that much thought on what they could do anymore. They just call summit and have them put a kit together and never know all the changes that is going on in the internals. Thanks
NextGen19 Thank you, glad the video was informational, yes there's so much out there that can be done if we just really think about it and give it your best shot, we'd never know unless we try, Thanks Again!!
Thanks, I think offset grinding is really neat. It lets people stroke uncommon engines. Also, sometimes Engine Masters will have exact rules on displacement, so people will resort to odd offset grinds and welds to meet those rules. If offset grinding changes rod journal diameter, does it make sense to change oil clearance at the same time? Hagerty mentioned that in many engines, a for each inch of journal diameter, people had .001 inch of oil clearance.
Good day fam, on my e30 2.9 stroker build, i machined my crank (328i) to accommodate 320i rods. So the engineering guy said the crank is machined to its last deck or spec, and further said that if i won't spin or race with the car i should be fine. So should i be worried that the crank is gonna last that long?

Hi...can u please tell us what things to take care of so that the tdc doesnt shift while stroking up the crank
