    I remember Big Bud in Montana before I left there in 1998. Now, there's Big Brute. I have to believe it's built by the same people. Nice to be able to touch back to that place and time.

    The water and field flooding issue is related to how many tons of soil per year you haul off to the grain tower. May not seem like much but it adds up, that combined with soil moisture causing plow/cult cling you end up creating your own wallows. Dredge your ditches and deep till it into the wallows with a big ditchwitch. A blend of rock-sand will build it up pretty quick.

    That last bit is what shows you are truly brothers lol. Love the vids and I enjoy Farming Sim 2017 So much more because of your videos. I feel like it gave me a better appreciation for the time it takes to get all that work done. So thank you and your family for working so hard to bring food to all of us.

      Then the brute would not be able to go as fast as It can go it would be limited do like 24 miles an hr max. A huge advantage of having the floater because of its speed. And the upkeep and maintenance to a case trac system is ridiculous they're not designed to go fast they would be working on them every other day

    On our farm we had a Apache 1210. We got it stuck exactly like you had butt low in a drainage ditch. We pulled it up and out and the front wheels lifted and she cat walked. It got just a little exciting. lol We also ripped the tow hooks off the Apache. Good idea on the cable to rear axle.

    Hey there Welker Farms. Have you ever looked at a GVM Prowler sprayer? Clearance and MFWD with high road speeds. 4 wheel steer is an option so you can run in different tracks.

    • @SaphielleFox
      @SaphielleFox 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I'd advise a agrifac condor sprayer, its a dutch brand wich is up and coming over at the states, they already broke several world records in Australia. Its really a top of the line machine from wich I can safely say as mechanic and farmer its a joy to work with, it has variable track width and optional suspension so the sprayer is level even on hills, (with the booms following the mountain side)

  • @trevoranderson6238
    @trevoranderson6238 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know this is quite a late response but have you thought about getting a tow rope instead of cables? We have used tow tops on dozers, full semis, tractors, and combines and it it still going strong. We just had bad luck with chains and cable so I thought I’d put the idea of a tow rope out there.

    • @WelkerFarms
      @WelkerFarms  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seriously considering changing over to ropes, the issue is they dont usually come in 100ft or longer but I'm sure I could get a couple and put them together.
