For some reason this segment was cut from the full interview on DVD and streaming. Been looking for it for years!

Icon. Hilarious. A class act and and somehow a real braud. I grew up watching her every day of my life from when I can remember until I went to college. I can only aspire to be a 1/10th of the funny she was just telling a normal story.

I love how she always has interviewers on their toes. 😂

I love tired Lucy. Even more mellow and cool than usual.
Got to go look up cross-collateralization now.

I must say. She spoke very badly about Desi. For me that was unexpected.

He was abusive toward her behind closed doors, and cheated on her for their entire marriage.
She had every right to say those things.

When did she speak badly about him? It seems whenever she was asked about their marriage she would always want to also point out what a good businessman he was. Even here whe Dick was asking about why she took over Desilu from him, she seemed to be covering for him and avoiding discussing the real reason he had to step down. She made it sound like her taking over the company was related to their divorce, but it had nothing to do with the divorce. In fact, it was nearly three years after their divorce that Desi stepped down and she was put in charge.
