This may be the greatest song that Angelina has done to date and she was only 10 years old. Although it is not an original, she is the only one who has covered it as it was leaked. No question she has made it her song. We angels (fans) have been busy and extend an invite to join the reaction community we have started. I was thinking about your statement that there's only one Amy Winehouse song you like. I think I get it. I'm not an Amy fan by any means, but I love Angelina's Amy Winehouse covers. I think it's because Angelina brings all the soul of Amy without the tawdriness of Amy's professional persona. Far from diminishing the songs, Angelina's delivery of the joy and heartache and playfulness in them actually elevates Amy's material to the realm of universal human experience. For an example of this, I recommend Angelina's cover of Rehab, in which she changed the lyrics slightly to make them more fun and age-appropriate. I like the Kongsberg Jazz Festival performance the best.

This was recorded when Angie was 10 almost 11 (it was used as a demo). The rumor was her mom (Sara) didn't like the suicide content references in the song so it was never released. This song is by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen (& they have worked with Angie before). Baby fuzz did this during a music workshop back in 2016 in Norway, (for Angie is kind of like friends with Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen & they all know each other. For like I said they have worked together before, this is how Angie might of got the song for they were all at said work shop at different times) Here’s a little bit of what BF said about in interview about the song: “Now I’m super happy nobody else took it, because it feels 100% honest to what I was feeling at that time. A fun line in the second verse deals with impulsive swiping of potential Tinder matches. It’s not even to find someone to match with. It’s just a cyclical behavior of rejecting others in an attempt to affirm an old flame that will never work. It’s actually the whole idea of the song… I’m just delusionally holding out in some monk-like vow of abstinence and loyalty that is incredibly self-destructive”-BF (No one was interested at the time) then Angie did the demo for it in 2016 & it was leaked 2 years later in Nov 2018. I believe Baby Fuzz heard Angelina's arrangement and vocals on the demo and then, for reasons we aren't sure of, which could have been that he believed that it could be released by he himself so as to get not only the writing residuals but those for singing it as well, he released a cover of Angelina's originally conceived rendition. It went nowhere, but had Angelina been able to release it, I and a host of other Angelina followers are sure it would have been a massive hit song. We've heard many vocal styles that she applies to songs in many different genres, but in this one she is totally different in her vocal delivery, which truly sounds as if she is an adult with inflections I associate with an Amy Winehouse style ballad. Of course, she applies the nuance like 'breathy' releases she learned from Billie Holiday, but the Amy style dominates my hearing of it. To me, it's the one I like best over all her songs and that's really saying something when you realize everything I've heard by her has been taken into consideration. Would love for Republic Records to let her do it in an album one day, for it's that good.

to the song or let others do so). It's funny he released it as an original in Dec 2018 a month after Angie's was leaked. When so many listen to this & Baby Fuzz's version (here’s the link) th-cam.com/video/q5HsABS4OXQ/w-d-xo.html (Even BF really liked Angie's version of it when he saw it later in 2020.) but the fans still all think this should be her's for it sound much better & convey's the story better. Brandon Lowery is a good writer & it shows in this song. His version is also good. (So many think that this is about suicide, but it's not), Even by BF own words, before he took most of his & others comments down & shut off his comments.

It was not a cover. She sung it when it was written. Her parents would not approve the suicidal lyrics. It was then done by Baby Fuzz at a much lower level.

If not, you're the only reactor who doesn't. Listen to 5, 4,3,2,1 Murder song, or I went to far, or running with the wolfs, or it happen quiet, the seed etc.. She has a long list.
I believe Baby Fuzz heard Angelina's arrangement and vocals on the demo and
then, for reasons we aren't sure of, which could have been that he believed that
it could be released by he himself so as to get not only the writing residuals but
those for singing it as well, he released a cover of Angelina's originally conceived
rendition. It went nowhere, but had Angelina been able to release it, I and a host
of other Angelina followers are sure it would have been a massive hit song. We've
heard many vocal styles that she applies to songs in many different genres, but in
this one she is totally different in her vocal delivery, which truly sounds as if she is
an adult with inflections I associate with an Amy Winehouse style ballad. Of course,
she applies the nuance like 'breathy' releases she learned from Billie Holiday, but the
Amy style dominates my hearing of it. To me, it's the one I like best over all her songs
and that's really saying something when you realize everything I've heard by her has
been taken into consideration. Would love for Republic Records to let her do it in an
album one day, for it's that good.

What Amy Winehouse do you like? Angelina has covered a few of hers, Valerie and (with modified lyrics) Rehab and Back To Black. But all between the age of 10 and 12.
only rehab - too heavy to hear a child sing it. I like the song for what it hides and the tragic nature of no one helping her as she spun out of control going on stage high and spaced out - I should have never learned about the dark side to all but I did - very sad!

Suicide. That's why the family decided not to release the song. That's why it's labeled 'leaked'. You don't want to hear the original. It sucks.
This is a hard song to sing she sings very well but I can tell she isn't feeling the song. An artist must understand and feel the lyrics. She's too young to know the meanings of the words. She's performing the song as written but without making me feel or moving me with artists like dimash makes me feel. Yes she has the voice but I think she needs to do more songs appropriate for her age. Just saying
