In Christianity, we believe that there’s one eternal Creator that’s the “true God” but that there are also formerly-angelic spirits who try to claim to be gods when in fact they are creatures just as we are. And since they did not create us, we are under no obligation to worship them. My friend and I are rather spiritually sensitive people and we’ve been around both the “false gods” and the True God energy and we felt it in that temple, though it was different than shall we say a Catholic Church. This sentiment may be controversial to some Christians, but it’s what we experienced. Hindus and Catholics have a lot of similarities, believing God is present in everything. Hindus believe that everything in the universe is God. The difference is that Catholics believe that God is WITHIN everything, but is not everything, because if you were to say that everything is God, that means that the bad things in the world are also God and that can be really devastating for people who have been through abuse.
