Hey brother, got a question. Jesus mentioned an Abomination (singular) of desolation. Daniel 9:27 says abominationS (plural). I’ m going to give you my take on it. Abominations is plural FOR (or because of) the Jews going back to animal sacrifices for forty years. The Talmud even teaches that the scarlet thread never turned white again on the Day of Atonement since “40 years BEFORE the temple was destroyed.” 70 AD minus 40 = 30 AD. what happened around 30 AD? I call this the Stay of Execution where God gave the unsaved Jews an extra forty years to repent and receive Him as their Messiah.

Christopher Nolan don't fall for this. This is totally off. Jesus told us when the age of Moses ended in Luke 16:16. He can't define when the end of an age without using scripture

By dying on Passover he became the spotless lamb, becoming the Atonement for sin. He was tracking the word atonement in his mind and probably said the wrong thing, but that's what he meant.

He obviously does not understand Daniel 9, the 70 weeks, nor Matthew 24. Luke 21 talks about destroying Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Also today the word Jew solely refers to followers of Judaism as no one can trace their bloodline back to being born in Judea. Anyone can convert to Judaism & be called a Jew hence Chinese Jews, Ethiopian Jews...Please study the philology of the word Jew & correct this statement. Also when did Israelites become Jews?
