I love Sunset - so cute! I would even attempt that color, it’s beautiful. I also love Marina and the Chocolate Frost! I wear brown wigs only, but I have a couple a bit lighter...but not blonde. Personally, blonde wigs are pretty but I get tired of everyone reviewing mainly blonde wigs only. We brunettes feel left out and sometimes it is hard to picture how a blonde wig would look in a brown. So thank you for this video!

Godiva’s Secret Wigs has the best synthetic hair. I’m relatively new to synthetic hair as I have been wearing human hair wigs but since I retired I can’t afford them. I have purchased two of Godiva’s Toppers and love them. I have tried Jon Renau and Belle Tress and ended up trashing the Belle Tress after only a few wears. The Jon Renau’s I returned after trying them on because the hair wasn’t soft and was very coarse. I’m thankful for Godiva’s! Please don’t ever let the quality slip.

This time of year I always remember the video Danielle did of what not to do with a wig---especially the sticking your head in the oven to get out something and she fried her bangs! Literally the color of red dirt, a burnt sienna. LOL! I started coloring in my 30s. Now that I let my hair grow out white, people think I'm older than I am. When I colored, people thought I was younger. Silly to judge age by hair color. My grandmother was pure white by the time she was 30.

I just bought a Marble Brown Taylor topper (Dec 2022) and it is WAAAAY darker (too dark) than the Marble Brown shown on Madison here (def NOT soft and natural looking). I'm in Canada and it cost considerably more because of the $ exchange and Duty/Taxes (and to return it would cost me $40, so... nope), so I will keep the topper and work with it, but it's a good starting point for me to figure out what colours/shape etc I would choose in the future (this is my first piece). If it does, you're a standard size (Walmart's and Macy's types just carry average size). If it's too tight, you're a large and if it's too loose, you're petite. I have seen women with wigs that are so shiny they look fake. It’s hard to tell on a monitor about the shine. Can you explain a little more about the finish of the hair strands?
Hi Sandy! Yes I can - for Godiva's Secret Wigs only. Our fibers are high quality synthetic and we are particular about having a natural shine. Having said that, women all over the world spend billions of dollars each year to spray "shiner" on their own hair. The other side of that is women who don't have shiny hair and are afraid to jump in with brighter hair. Our wigs are conditioned with shine, and they look completely natural to the majority - and they will fade with time. Maybe begin to spray shine on your own hair to get used to a brighter, more modern look. I love them but my head is a petite average. Its 22 in circumference but smaller ear to ear and forhead to nape. I wish the crown was just open wefts very thin and light because i need air on my crown.

Sounds like you make need some customization and many clients do this themselves or show this video to an alteration expert and have them easily do it. About the open wefts at the crown; after wearing wigs for over 40 years and wearing & selling ours all over the world for over 20 years, the only way you will inhibit hair growth at the crown is to wear your wig all day and all night; so your scalp can't breathe. with our lightweight wigs (2 to 4 oz) there is no way to inhibit hair growth and our wigs are light and airy. Also, I suggest you check out our "petite" wigs on this link to our website: www.godivassecretwigs.com/search.php?search_query=petite+wigs. That may help, also when you're playing with the wigs, you will see an instant change around your face if you pull back some of the hair around your face by either brushing or clipping. I love Sunset - so cute! I would even attempt that color, it’s beautiful. I also love Marina and the Chocolate Frost! I wear brown wigs only, but I have a couple a bit lighter...but not blonde. Personally, blonde wigs are pretty but I get tired of everyone reviewing mainly blonde wigs only. We brunettes feel left out and sometimes it is hard to picture how a blonde wig would look in a brown. So thank you for this video!

Godiva’s Secret Wigs has the best synthetic hair. I’m relatively new to synthetic hair as I have been wearing human hair wigs but since I retired I can’t afford them. I have purchased two of Godiva’s Toppers and love them. I have tried Jon Renau and Belle Tress and ended up trashing the Belle Tress after only a few wears. The Jon Renau’s I returned after trying them on because the hair wasn’t soft and was very coarse. I’m thankful for Godiva’s! Please don’t ever let the quality slip.

Merry Christmas gals! Lovely video and I was glad to see more styles and different colors! I remember when I got my first ever wig from you (Freedom) and was afraid when I first put it on that I would hurt it by styling....glad I am more comfortable now and it is true---you don't need to do much to get it to look great! I really liked that Sunset in Auburn Sugar! And never realized how pretty the Almond Roca and Toasted brown are! This time of year I always remember the video Danielle did of what not to do with a wig---especially the sticking your head in the oven to get out something and she fried her bangs! Excellent reminder because we get so busy this time of year!!!

Literally the color of red dirt, a burnt sienna. LOL! I started coloring in my 30s. Now that I let my hair grow out white, people think I'm older than I am. When I colored, people thought I was younger. Silly to judge age by hair color. My grandmother was pure white by the time she was 30.

Hi Green, I hope you are happy with your trim - you'll have your wig for a long time. Not sure where you went, that isn't cheap, we also offer tutorials and many of our clients on our TH-cam channel have learned and taken the steps to trim/resize wigs on their own.

I just bought a Marble Brown Taylor topper (Dec 2022) and it is WAAAAY darker (too dark) than the Marble Brown shown on Madison here (def NOT soft and natural looking). I'm in Canada and it cost considerably more because of the $ exchange and Duty/Taxes (and to return it would cost me $40, so... nope), so I will keep the topper and work with it, but it's a good starting point for me to figure out what colours/shape etc I would choose in the future (this is my first piece). The quality is very good, so I recommend - thank you!

Hi Friendly, "no heat" means no intense heat - don't leave the wig in a hot trunk, don't use curling irons - the wig will be fantastic wherever your body goes. Much easier than you think. Hope this helps!

Do I have to measure my head size and how?
Hi Mary, I have lots of info for you here. First - the easiest way to know if you're an average size or not is this: When you visit a dept store and try a hat on, does it fit right? If it does, you're a standard size (Walmart's and Macy's types just carry average size). If it's too tight, you're a large and if it's too loose, you're petite. Here's a more technical, but easy way to know your wig size from our web site:

I have seen women with wigs that are so shiny they look fake. It’s hard to tell on a monitor about the shine. Can you explain a little more about the finish of the hair strands?
Hi Sandy! Yes I can - for Godiva's Secret Wigs only. Our fibers are high quality synthetic and we are particular about having a natural shine. Having said that, women all over the world spend billions of dollars each year to spray "shiner" on their own hair. The other side of that is women who don't have shiny hair and are afraid to jump in with brighter hair. Our wigs are conditioned with shine, and they look completely natural to the majority - and they will fade with time. Maybe begin to spray shine on your own hair to get used to a brighter, more modern look. If you want to stay with less shine, here is our video on how to dull a new wig with baby powder:

I love them but my head is a petite average. Its 22 in circumference but smaller ear to ear and forhead to nape. I wish the crown was just open wefts very thin and light because i need air on my crown.

Sounds like you make need some customization and many clients do this themselves or show this video to an alteration expert and have them easily do it. About the open wefts at the crown; after wearing wigs for over 40 years and wearing & selling ours all over the world for over 20 years, the only way you will inhibit hair growth at the crown is to wear your wig all day and all night; so your scalp can't breathe. with our lightweight wigs (2 to 4 oz) there is no way to inhibit hair growth and our wigs are light and airy.
Also, I suggest you check out our "petite" wigs on this link to our website:
